A Damsel In Distress
A Damsel in Distress
He entered as a neophte
Into a darkened room at night
He could not see but he could hear
A distant sound within the void
He paced himself slowly so
He would not flounder to the sound
To keep his wits lest he might fall
The noise increased as he drew near
On inhibition how to act
The door creaked open to a light
A bombast female voice was heard
A lady held against her will
An ugly ogre’s eyes revealed
Lecherous looks that he could see
He pounced and him and beat him down
Providence was on his side
To watch the ashes from her plight
Smolder then there was no more
Protecting her, he held her close
To lessen her dolorous look
Behold, a hero has arrived
To save a damsel in distress
