Spring-cleaning

Today, let's organise a future life And rearrange the pathways of the mind; Spring-clean away the cobwebs which are rife And polish everything that we can find. New day, new start and everything is clean! The sunlight reaches corners of the soul And dissipates the dark clouds inbetween -- The places where life takes its daily toll. Then ready for another day of life When all we are is ready to move on; Avoiding every argument and strife. We know that the unpleasantness has gone. It's then we look ahead and we can see The pathways of the mind are clear and free.

Your poem, in an accomplished way, certainly gives one prescription for avoiding conflict/strife.
