A Childhood Memory

A CHILDHOOD MEMORY I recall how in my younger days I created things to entertain myself I had some very memorable ways Let me not forget my youth The things I made could not be bought Made from stuff that had been thrown away I turned them into toys never before wrought Let me not forget my youth When I grew up and moved from home All my toys remained behind But now I'm back nevermore to roam And I have not forgotten my youth 22 February 2019 For the contest, Writing Challenge, Feb 2019, Roundel Form - Poetry contest sponsored by Dear Heart

Yes, Tom, those were wonderful days and ingrained wonderful memories. Now, in my "Golden Years", I can reminisce regarding those younger years. Thanks for stopping by!
