A Bird's World
A Birds World
Arriving on a tranquil morning breeze
sweet notes of an unmarked day you sing.
You are a musician of the air,
poised on the threshold of early spring.
Knowing no boundaries while in flight,
no competing, no desire to impress.
Grateful to have the sun in sight,
gliding in the crimson dawn’s caress.
In a world
where critics are never heard
have you ever seen
an unhappy bird?
