3 Yesterdays Ago
3 yesterdays ago I thought about today.
3 yesterdays ago today wasn't far enough away
Always living 3 days away,
planning and contemplating
of ways to live, and how not to die.
3 yesterdays ago death crept up my stair.
Claiming me as its victim.
3 yesterdays ago I should've lived, enjoyed my life and had spontaneous fun. Instead
I planned and planned
3 yesterdays ago I died and as for today,
my plans won't be met.
I never lived but I surely died,
planning for today
3 yesterdays ago.
