Contest Description
What to Submit? Choose one of the following writing prompts then write a 16 lines or less poem about the prompt you choose. Poetic styles I like are Sonnet and Couplets. Having said that I am not about to limit your imagination to any single style, except: PLEASE DON'T USE PROSE.
- Wisdom is not enough to calm your fears.
- Sand promises
- Hold onto this anchor please
- All of us borrow, and reinforce our self image
Here are the rules: Please read them carefully.
- Any title you want to use is fine.
- New poems OR Old poems (See rule 3)
- Old poems are okay as long as they are 16 lines or less and relate to the prompt you have choosen.
- Make certian that I see your prompt so I know which one you have choosen. This is best visable and most easily noticed in () parentheses directly under the title.

Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.

You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.
