Preparing Your Entry
(I personally don't like monorhyme or the use of any poetic tool that is obvious - too much of anything is a liability - make it subtle and don't be predictable ... but I do love creative ambiguity which can also be overdone...anything can (including rules I suppose)...use adjectives and adverbs at your own risk - make your words themselves count, not the bright paint you are tempted to add - save that for those who need it.
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
