G’mar chatima tova.
Forgive me if I stumble
across the unfamiliar words.
We are not so different.
Each strives to do more good
than bad; at least to do no harm.
We pause for prayer and reflection,
aspire to be more caring, more giving;
make amends and atone for misdeeds.
So I pray for you my friend.
As the shofar sounds the end, may your
name be sealed in the Book of Life.
There are words that lie
There are words that heal
There are words that warm or heat
There are words that move
Ample words made up for getting up and going away
And these words
There are words that laugh
There are words that hold
There are words that restrain, condemn
There are words that swear
Well-known words to keep in reserve for what whatever it's worth
And these words
There are words that fight
There are words that hate
There are words that mean nothing at all
There are words that free
Sorry words that betray the race when the word was mum
And these words
a rip in the jelly
a fissure in the copper pot
a rift in the cup of tea
a slanted time for
a wedding gift pitcher
to slip off a shelf
and stick the landing
thud like putty
If you square two and take away from eight,
In the month of April that is my birth date!
Write month-date as lucky angels dictate,
like a pair of akimbo dancers on ice skates!
This unique number occurs every where!
bottle of Indian cough mixture? it is there!
All around in North, East, South and West,
And in earth, water, sky, air you may test!
On the clock face two stop to bottom,
count summer, winter, spring, autumn!
This divine number has its rightful place,
Bible, Gita, Koran,Torah, outer space!
Am I not lucky to be born on such a date,
That holy number twice my cake decorates?
With reverence I blow candle each summer,
to seek good luck from the angelic number!

Sneaky Jeja
While walking past this tree
I thought it said
"Can I have your sandwich"
I thought
"Did you speak to me"
He stuck out his hand and doubled it and took it
Before i said "yes"
Without a twitch
I handed it over again and laughed all the way home
What a cheeky Sneaky Jeja tree.
Amen.
Eve wanted to show Adam her bust
'Cos it always filled Adam with lust
But God told her, "No!
Thou shalt NEVER show
Lest thou shalt not see Adam for dust!"
TORAH STUDY
Although I have heard the words
Each time I read you anew
Fresh beauty sings in my mouth
