In the flower bed it does catch your eye
Seemingly common it looks up to the sky
Amongst the others a little taller it stands
And its color much brighter and somewhat grand
In life its just growing with all the rest, it would seem
But there’s something special about a life with a dream
Where others might whither and in obscurity shrink
Not so for this one, I often think.
No standing around not sure where to go
Onward and upward and forward, Tallyho!
These flowers are somewhat rare to see
But if you’re lucky in your flower bed they will be
And surrounding this flower many others are near
They help and nurture as it smiles - “come here”
For a single lonely flower is not its destiny
It’s a special calling for great things, indeed.
For others it blooms and cares for their needs
In the garden it grows with compassionate seeds
For now the flower makes the garden its nest
And so for its friends it is simply the best.
Might you be
That very special girl
I hold so tight
As our love reaches new heights
Our souls dance with delight
Looking for the perfect direction
When our paths crossed
With such loving affection
Do we dare try to compare
How much we love and care
When we turn up the degrees
On this amazing sensuality
When I found myself shifting to patrol
Face to face with your glory-hole
Rather than hold,
When I found myself losing control
Like a red hot injection,
You strive for perfection
Blowing my mind
Hanging on to this rodeo
Cause you stole the show
When you put this cowboy
Into tallyho
Sealing it with a big wet kiss
You're such a loving dish
Going out of your way
Fulfilling my every wish
You are the real deal
Who prides themselves
When you kiss the sky
Riding this rodeo guy
As I foresee
Some of the best whoopee
All for a man like me
Now our spirits set free
With this wonderful love
Wrapped around me
Okay you nice people, now listen to me
Been around quite a while, I'm a smart retiree
This guy should know
To small stuff say tallyho
It sure doesn't matter a sweet whoopee

I am me!
I am beautiful greediest me!
I'm quite simply gigantic, enormous, colossal- bigantic!
I'm huge I'm not small I could fill Albert hall -
What a beautiful thing to be me.
I can eat a cake shop in one sitting
Forty boxes of chocs without quitting,
If I had half a mind to-
I could well be inclined to
-Start over again, food permitting.
They say I've no stomach to diet.
'Lazy lummock!' they scream. 'You must try it!'
I just laugh from my belly
Till it wobbles like jelly,
'Come on then,' I say, 'come and fry it!'
It is said I'm too lazy to chew.
It's an art, It's not easy to do.
I just open my gob
And with a flick and a lob-
Down the hatch, tallyho, toodaloo!
should I attempt to tabulate the ways
in which I cherish this thing we call life
a single eye to count the twinkle stars
might I borrow the worlds fingers and toes
arms, legs and noses, still shy my target
better still to prey my heart from its chest
laid out raw, in ore, wanting more, love score
no magician can fill up a full cup
that does, clearly, already overflow
bulbous, crimson, life, spilling down solid sides
flooding the firmaments, essence of me
a reason for being, forging, worthwhile
I straddle the beast who carries us through
tallyho, avanti, onward we go
