Subtle Gradients

An area brightly lit
Meets a shadow's
Black body
Illuminated unclearly nor totally hidden,
Glimmer of light through trees nearby
Usually and clearly
Is betwixt and between
The steady illumination and absence of light,
Yes, neither glow nor obscurity.

Peace Holds Trouble At Woman's Subtle Cheek

Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek:
Pale, inviting and warm enough to kiss
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Shielded close to her open lips, eyes seek
Patiently... so moment goes not amiss,
Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek.

On top her chest's fountain lies tips so meek,
Choice could travel its miles without a hiss,
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Labelling tricks mouth could parade at streak,
Palm could turn on... over silent tigh's bliss,
Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek.

How wet dragging lips put bed in shock, creak!
Out of baffling gestures... wish she resists,
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Reaching out on moment, desires bespeak...
To an endless but deep dreamland- abyss;
Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek,
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Subtle hints and lies

How can I, make you move
When I can't find words to describe
how I feel inside, so I cry.

I close my eyes sometimes.
To pacify the time, this fragile
thing called life.

we all have stars in our eyes
some have dreams that died
it shapes the wake of our life's

TENDER INVITATION aldravia

        heart
         unhindered
         open
          doors
           subtle
            invitation

Premium Member i sat to write of subtle things

I sat to write of subtle things
The sun, the gentle warm it brings
To melt the ice on dormant springs
Awakening the bug that stings

Then came thoughts a bit more harsh
Large snapping turtles in the marsh
Bug-eyed pike with teeth so sharp
Chasing dragonflies at dark

A soothing hum that fills the air
Just letting us know that they’re there
Residing between leaf and lair
A season’s worth of life to share

Thus, do the woods kindly enfold
The dreams of lovers young and old
Stories hidden, stories told
Of moonlit kisses ne’er grown cold

Premium Member A subtle stir is born in my mind, a dance of thoughts rising

A subtle stir is born in my mind, a dance of thoughts rising,
Like foam finding its place in the azure sky, seeking unwritten answers among the stars,
Yet fearing the earth that pulls dreams towards itself, a merciless magnet of freedom.
We dream in endless chapters, pages full of hopes and fears,
Where the end is a distant echo that haunts us silently,
Catching us in a struggle between two forces: normalcy demanding submission,
And defiance urging us to rise, to be more than our shadows.
Should we conform to the world's demands, living in quiet anonymity?
Or surrender to the sweetness of dreams, losing ourselves in them like martyrs,
Dying for a cause that only our soul knows?
The sun, a hurried witness, wants to see the story whispered by the moon,
About the boy who, with a gentle motion, makes the poles of the metronome of destiny sway,
Balancing between what is and what might be, between darkness and light,
Between desire and surrender, lost in the endless flow of consciousness,
Seeking balance between the dreams that call us and the reality that pulls us back,
Dancing endlessly in a universe of melancholy, a play of the soul through time and space.

Premium Member Subtle Wood

I sit and look surrounded,
By this subtle sounding wood.
I can’t help but be astounded,
That something so simple could.
Am I free or grounded?
What happened where I stood?
These feelings have compounded,
And their meanings misunderstood.

Subtle and blunt

Soft light and warm
a touch welcomes home
bed red and hot
heat rushes up
fire pulse and ache
welcomes us again
like waterfall
empty and full
soaked until I know no more
something calls me here
drinking sweet red and full of fear
drunk on pulse and desire
thoughts began to dewire

with transient identity having been forgot
we embrace life, the shape shifting chameleon
enlivened by bliss magnetism, in vibrance we jive
resolving all paradoxes in the cave of our heart
etching fragrance of our soul in the vast void

The umbrella

How protective the cool umbrella is !, You are a symbol of shelter or fashion, I wonder for your great endless service, Always keep and love you as my passion, A priceless mind is like an umbrella, They are most useful when they open and act, A true friend is like an umbrella, Beginning you are lady's thing by fact , You are designed to save person from rain , Has given subtle shade from the sunny sun,
Umbrella is a child of human brain, Is it a real tool to shield from sun, Kindness and humanity are your moral,
Please mend it before rain by an oral.

Subtle Pulsating Space

subtle pulsating space,
get your finger out of my face,
shimmering dimness and the light in between,

he appeared quickly but did not go fast
I knew too well a spell had fell,
Putin I'm not disputin', Trump I got over the hump of you,
Musk you have an elephant's tusk, red headed triplets need
never to despair, well I ain't mentionin' the other that was
in the room out of thin air. He was always too small to make a call.

Tiny bubbles os pain, wishing instead it were champagne.
Did I really go crazy? High and lows together or birds of a feather flock together? Well, we are all the same.

Victorian society ways that go back to the cave. There is more than one way to skin a cat ..

where cats are bigger and I never would've gotten called a
...

A subtle summer

In the gratifying embrace of the sun's glow
a delightful plight, a verdant tableau;
Where the blazing sovereign of light reigns
scattering, a gleam of kaleidoscopic refrains;
The sweet sounds of the dulcet birds
coercing me to summon these words;
the pulpy fruits with its mellowing taste
with an azure sky, so simple and chaste;
I wished more of these benign days
For I could enrapture my mind by I single gaze.

OR

Is it destined OR is it planned
Is it in the stars OR is it in the palm of our hands
do we have control OR are we puppets
can I ask for a choice OR are my decisions taken
am I capable OR am I just afraid
are my paths designed OR is it a maze
can I take a chance OR do I have to move on
shouldn't I've figured it out OR will it take forever
maybe now OR never.
