sorting phrases so as not to reuse.

A thesaurus is indispensable

to make esoteric words sensible.

And to brighten my vocabulary

I consult a rhyming dictionary. 

A poetic form conceived in my mind

is roughed in, tentative and unrefined.

And as each line comes with perseverance,

a brand new poem makes its appearance.

My wife says, “We’ve got enough!”
To throw it out is tough.

The garage is spilling. 
The attic is filling—
But the barn is willing. 

The answer is to reuse.
Do yard work in old shoes.
Retired towels polish pews.

Fix toys when they refuse.
Sell junk to pay dues.
She says, “It’s no use. Turn it loose.”

“Don’t keep it forever!” 
I say, “Throw it away? Never!”

Reduce reuse recycle
aim to have zero waste,
we need to tackle climate change
or global warming must be faced

If folk are willing to walk
car share or ride a push bike,
this will lessen their emissions
and won’t create a CO2 spike

If we purchase produce grown locally
we’ll decrease the amount of food miles,
our carbon footprints can be reduced
it’s time to change our current lifestyles!
