Excalibur
King Arthur knew not what to do
He pulled it with one hand, then two
He let out a groan
It’s stuck in the stone
And Merlin laughed, Hah, CRAZY GLUE!...

King Arthur
A hot wind blew that day
as I gazed down from the
hills of Tintagel
to the emerald sea and white foam below
that crashed against ancient rocks
and marvelled at ruins
that once was Camelot......

Come To the Library Friend
Fierce mythical dragons
Legends galore
Galloping determined steeds,
Knighthood and more.
King Arthur’s round table
Loves of Queen Guinevere
Come to the library, friend.
They will always be near....

I tried to reason with the Lady of Shalott
I tried to reason with the Lady of Shalott,
"Be content! Don’t be so distraught!
You may long for the world of Lancelot and Guinevere ~
but let me tell you what’s about to happen there ~
they're about to lose everything they've got."

I Died
For your sins
cheaters
clickers
unbelievers
nineteen crimes
peddling dimes
Now I have risen
from the broth
carry on dear soupsters
until I decide
is all for naught
in silence
I reign
King Arthur
fear not
my heartbroken devils...

Excalibur
Sword of King Arthur…
Oh, how I wish that I
where able to remove
Excalibur from the stone…
That I was strong enough
and pure of heart…
I could slew dragons and
keep the peace…
If only I had Excalibur!

Sir Circumference
I just found out that
Was only Sir Circumference;
Got around quite well.
King Arthur was rip
With all the shiny armor
Got into his eyes.
Dedicated to Dave Timperly
as per his comment about
my poem.....

King Arthur
(Limerick)
There once was an owl named Argonne
That read a lot of King Arthur and Avalon
Of Merlin & the sword of Power
Of Camelot, and all the square
Knights, who sat 'round when Art call'd upon!

Warrior To the End
( This poem I wrote it a long time ago)
It's meaningless.
Strong as mighty
I will stand tall
As my blade help me fight all combat.
Like the sword of king Arthur the mighty
Nothing will defeat my inner being, nor scar my emotion of strength.
I am a purpose, I am a reason, I am a warrior.
You will feel my mighty power unleash....

The Great King Arthur
Standing tall, against them all,
Ready to battle, doth not care if will shatter.
On a white horse he rides,
With his beautiful sword Excaliber at his side.
His Knights are fallen,
but he does not run,Nor does he go to hide,
Knights who are against him are on each of his sides.
But the Great King Arthur is not afraid,
For the Great King Arthur in the end,
Whether he lived or died,in the end,
He stayed....

A Round Table
King Arthur had the right design
For when ideas abound
Discussion goes much smoother
At a table that is round.
When more than four sit down to talk
At tables long or square
The conversation’s aimed at who
Sits in the closest chair.
So little groups will splinter off
And miss the latest news
Of those down at the other end,
Affecting points of views.
But when the table’s round, all those
Participate as one
And everyone’s caught up before
The meal is even done....

Forget Me Not
All the Myths are twisted.
Merlin warned King Arthur
of the Minotaur.
He had no need of twine-
his War Horse was Pegasus.
At the Labyrinth's end his Atomic Spear
pierced the Tauran Eye.
He had no thought of Camelot.
White wings lifted him
above the mushroom cloud–
through the purple gates-
to Satans' Den.
Merlin sat scowling at the Lady of the Lake -
Excalibur’s sheath had bloomed with
Forget - Me – Nots,
and Merlin's Crystal ball
was shrouded in a Nuclear Winter....
