early morning rain
quenches parched peony blooms ~
dewy effloresce
Men always desire for women and wealth,
Women desire men, family and wealth,
Desire only seems to be fulfillment postponed,
It is the dream of the lust in our hearts adored.
The fire of desires ravages in our minds,
The flames seem to erupt scorching the entire universe,
The desires have no quenching in sight,
The waves of desires cascade endlessly on the shores of life.
Desire and enjoy not the things we have,
Always looking forward to things we don't have,
Is it the lust or greed in our soul?
Or is it a dream or an endless lifelong goal?
The lack of desire, I may not desire,
The life will be dull, the dreams will be void,
The quench of my desire, I may admire,
Life will be full; happiness will be achieved.
We quench our thirst but always fail,
since we’re by fears and desires cursed,
the toxins that bring out our worst,
that doth tranquility derail,
till we drink from the holy grail;
soma nectar in our heart pursed,
we quench our thirst.
Truth of existence, let us nail,
by embracing life unrehearsed,
feeling within bliss bubble burst
and thus living to tell our tale,
we quench our thirst.

WATER'S BENEFITS
Water is needed for life
This liquid is not to be shunned
When food is quite rare
And you only have air
That water to quench will be nice
So with the Water of Life
Our Lord provides against sin
If you see its value
And let it revive you
You'll be glad you took my advice

In Summer I must be sated
Or my health will be ill-fated
I long for rain from a cloudburst
Only water will quench my thirst
To satisfy my need to slake
A drink of water, I'll partake
It's the liquid I think of first
Only water will quench my thirst
I swim in rivers when I dream,
where currents carry me downstream
In cool rapids I am immersed
Only water will quench my thirst
A vital elixir of life
I'm thankful water is so rife
for without it, death is accursed
Only water will quench my thirst

The bell rings of thirst
to answer by a drink
ease the thirst a full drink
half a drink inching to more quench
There it is sitting on a table nearby
just having taken it out of the fridge
it felt really chilled on outside glass
withheld me before crossing the bridge
You see to open that lemonade bottle
would be to fall into real temptation
there you gaze upon it in wonder
thinking how this began in creation
One day a long time ago
imagine there's only one bottle left
in all the world it's the last one
don't touch, stay near, don't run
The longer I wait, it hurts
my throat gets dryer so hoarse
one day I must take a step
so great the urge, feel the force
Just even a sip would satisfy
for that to quench my thirst
by now a queue has developed
gasping to drink before they burst
Lemonade Oh lovely lemonade
to feel you down my throat
remove the dryness all together
this my joy, always get my vote!
(A single lemonade bottle sitting on that table next to my chair, looking on my thoughts gather as I contemplate the urge for a thirst-quenching drink.)
A barren land is thirsty for rain
Its dry sands can’t yield any grain
The ground printed with bare footmarks
And a soldier boot prints in their tracks
Famine was signalised by a beautiful sign
The innocence of a bright and cloudless blue sky
Under it they pray to the gods to make the clouds weep
As their water wells ebb down into sips
Tears fall more frequently than rain
Sinking into the hot arid terrain
The wind whistles by without moisture
It blows past them carrying away their prayers
They look to the skies for humanitarian manna
To the same sky they look out and dread the gunners
The land the poor till for survival
Is the land on which the rich kill for minerals
Women and their babies live their fighting men behind
Asylum lies beyond the unknown borderlines
Their land is just a name and memory, home is no more
A place they came from, now in the claws of famine and war
Dedication: To the struggle for peace in South Sudan
Through the wet willows, we stumble on
Right in mid of autumn, perfect days.
With first breath, the wakeful light of dawn
A mystique flaming fire rise a blaze
In the distant horizon, upon
Hope, this perfect time didn't drift a-ways
As gray, slow, swirl clouds and nearer drawn
While the sun is rising. Nature plays
Immersed under waves of warm sunshine.

When wands of beauty spell the core of heart
a rapture gasped and pounded into me
my vision I long to capture in art
with hands of poetry dipped into glee.
When music flows through the chambers of mind
no sounds heard but steps of the soul in trance
as a glow of joy through the soul would glide
the self whirls and twirls in a divine dance.
When smitten with supernal sensations
mysteries, you seek to perceive and frame
taste sweet pains to reach higher dimensions
the soul is deeply moved by light and flame.
Ever, the heart fill and the mind inspire
With abiding thirst, to quench and admire.

In my mind you trend
It's my eyes you bend
You belong in my chest
Sweetie my bestfriend
I'm yours to melt
You are my fairly blend
The one i have to mend
I have all the time to spent
Darling you are kept
Remember the day we met, down the street from west
Like a movie of Grand Auto theft
You came along with your tent
Yet today is your day to camp
I am yours to quench
KISSABLE THIRST QUENCH COMPLETE
i kissed you once on
petals of radiant love
like a fruit pick up
your juices encase
saturated with in brilliants
spices and sweets so
radiant juices
to ripple down my throat moist
sweets so and spiced
swallowing this treat
encased brilliants so nice sweet
quenches thirst complete

L-et water quench your thirst,
A-s the deer goes to the river;
U-nder the heat of the sun,
R-eplenish your fluids after your saunter.
E-agerly quench your thirst,
N-ourish your spiritual life;
C-ultivate your heart and soul,
E-veryday even during the strife.
P-erfectly feed your mind,
E-arly February twenty-first;
J-ust attend the worship service,
E-arnestly quench your thirst.
Feed me in the night with your kiss.
For I have starved for love’s abyss.
I kneel before you with SPLENDOR,
your etched silhouette I embrace.
I am astounded by your grace
as you caress me so TENDER.
Simple moments quench my desire,
I am kindled by manic fire.
Adoration I shall RENDER.
In my arms you shall find pure ease
and all your misery shall cease.
For it is you … I SURRENDER.
Feed me in the night with your kiss.
I lay with you and reminisce.
So grateful for your CREATION
as you encompass with concern.
For it’s been your care that I yearn.
Devotion and ADORATION
make the most inspired connection.
You shower me with affection
leaving a longing SENSATION
I will never be heartbroken,
my spirit you have awoken.
I drown in APPRECIATION.
I’m so honored to be your WIFE,
someone loyal for you to love - - -
I thirsted for you all my LIFE.
