It is beyond ridiculous
But anyway, it’s true
The dullest of dystopias
Is here again like new
No use to cite the history
Cause no one can unravel
What is infold in mystery
Which way the story travels
One takes preventive measures
For others it’s a flake
In trash one sees a treasure
His rivals see mistake
It happens in a snap of fingers
A brave new world appears
Most stupid jokes it lingers
Another war spreads fears
And those are first to die, who can’t
Stay silent, then of course
Returns the silence, and witchhunt
Begins, same as it was.
Human ingenuity leapfrogs beyond ordinary
Buoying upon wings of intellectual curiosity
Sustaining innovation, creative imagination,
Breaking barriers once thought impenetrable,
Daring to conquer the arduous, unknown~
Resistant to understanding, inert to inquiry.
Unfathomable is force of scientific curiosity
That opened doors to discoveries, inventions:
Telescopes that explore the origin of universe,
Space flights landing on Moon and Mars,
Defying gravity, exceeding the speed of sound;
Telephones, electricity, computers, automobiles,
Untold preventive medicines, therapeutics,
Vaccines holding in check reign of pandemics,
Treatments for diseases, cure for hepatitis,
Nuclear fusion searching new source of energy
Reducing emissions to sustain life on earth.
Curiosity is the flame of wisdom, inspiration,
Lifeline for mortality pursuing life and liberty;
Promise of yesterday, today, and tomorrow,
For explicating phenomena less understood,
For guiding aspirations of cognitive intellect,
For directing journey on roads not traversed.

Health Is Wealth
Our body needs energy,
to sustain our daily routine
make it strong and active
to do things fast and easy
Everything you do,
needs strength and force
take care of your health
as look like your treasure
Stretching, bending, and kneeling
are such a wonderful warm-up
makes loosened our bones and tissues
to prepare for another activity
Relaxing sometime indeed
helpful to manage stress and fatigue
Body figures are important but
when it comes to health, nothing compares to this
Doing the activity in moderation
makes the body in preparation
do walking, do jogging
be responsible and preventive of illnesses
The invisible enemy

A stranger you are ,
evoking fear every where
and sparing none ,young or old,
Bringing all in your macabre fold,
A devilish smile on your lips.,
with every body learning preventive tips,
Haunting to embrace each one
Finding in the streets no one
Feared as a tormentor of human race,
Unleashing reign of terror with disgrace,
you are the reason to learn reality of life ,
with a new meaning I learn to thrive,
I am fuelled enough to wage a battle,
Will fight to the last proving my mettle

Faith is a good protection
Against all forms of virus;
Making the spirit immune
To fight the lies so vicious.
Faith is a preventive tool
That has curative vaccine;
The tactics that are so cruel
Are afraid of true doctrine;
Faith is an effective shield
To stop poisonous notion;
Too tough in the battlefield,
It wins over opinion.
Faith is a sheep's equipment
To remain firm in the flock;
So well is the commitment,
Hard and solid like a rock.
Overcome the pandemic
Of sin snowballed everywhere;
Contain the epidemic.
Faith mask we must always wear.

A BEGGAR IN ISOLATION
I hear people speak of "sanitizers"
A word whose meaning remains a wonder
With clean water and soap do I hear them wash
Such luxury is one I can only but wish
I see people leaving the streets for home
Still, it is the only home I have ever known
If in the comfort of your home you say a prayer:
"Remember me; that homeless beggar
If ever you have an extra plate to offer
Oh, remember me; a hungry orphan
If you have a bottle of drink to give
Remember that corner where a blind man lives
If you decide to help in ways you can
Remember that childless old woman
While every man seeks preventive measures
And sits back to rely on his laid up treasures
My only hope is in the rain and sun
I can only but wish this virus gone
I have wrestled long with thirst, hunger and woes
But how can I fight this blood thirsty foe
Yet if through your window you see me gasp for breath
I pray you let me die my gruesome death
For you think of the earth as a thousand times better
Without the filth of a virus stricken beggar!

An Incentive To Be Inventive
What we really need is an incentive,
We be creative while also inventive;
In each action,
With satisfaction,
Preparing new plan being preventive.

A significantly different day
No bread or milk
empty for toilet paper
Reduced opening hours in grocery stores
- Home insulation with
respiratory infection
Rationing on medicines
School closes -
no leisure activities
No daycare
No bus or taxi
No traveling abroad
All aboard aircraft and boat
must in quarantine
Large preventive measure
Dramatic cut in hotel beds
The church cancels all services
Closed office buildings
No cinema or theater
Today our first victim
as a result of the coronavirus
My deepest condolences to the family

A doomsday prepper braces himself
for an impending "Armageddon"
In stubborn his mind; which is irreversibly
made up, the end of the world is drawing near.
He's taking extreme preventive measures
as he prepares for the day of reckoning.
Some folks in the neighbodd think he's out there;
gone crazy like a fox. He couldn't care less.

Sir Lancelot
didn't smoke pot
He wielded a shield and a mask
~ A wineskin and a flask
You get no breaks from dumb mistakes
For when you’re inattentive,
You’re bound to miss or else dismiss
A step that is preventive.
An extra glance may make the chance
Of messing up much lower,
As will a pause and that’s because
When we do things much slower…
We’ll likely spot the things we’d not
When we are in a hurry
And thus prevent the time we’ve spent
Consumed by doubt and worry.
Of course, in life, there must be strife
And if we make a fumble,
It doesn’t pay to waste all day
In irritating grumble.
Medicine That Is Preventive
What we need is an incentive
Produce medicine that is preventive
Preserve life as we know it know
So we can all get by somehow
Provide way for people to live.
Destruction did send on its course
Should be returned to original source
Destroy point from where originated
And this should be contemplated
Instead of being in a state of remorse.
We should have a magnetic force around
our objects that we do not want harmed
or destroyed like supply trucks for instance.
When something is fired at them, that
item will be forced to return to original
source. Result will be that the original
point and source will be destroyed.

A gent of African legacy has earned governance over this land.
We populaces of pigment have increased our acceptance.
Our masses are at liberty to decide where we sit, live, and learn.
Yet I ask have we arrived?
We are enduring verdicts founded on our physical imprints.
The multitudes continue to resign from our edifying institutions.
Scores of the lineage linger in districts of decay and poverty.
Have we arrived?
Lives vanished heinously, but we drew deliverance from disparity.
The assessment of our existence was engorged exponentially.
Our pedigree sheltered one another as to preserve strength.
Have we arrived?
We self-perpetuate devastation upon our people preventive progress.
Many of us take the lives of our brethren as if they are insignificant.
No longer do we stand united, and instead we have yielded to individualism.
Have we arrived?
I’m looking for mine daily
A gene of combinations and strengths
A blood we share in hidings
Nation and nations as siblings
A blood of friends satisfaction
Arouses sense and feelings
Bringing joy in sadness
Strengthening weak to fight
A blood that flow uneven
Too economy to people like us
A wonderful world like this
Where number of soldiers sounds
Borders of states are intact
with secret security full paid
But none of them dare to grasp
For the blood flows like electron
Penetrates deep to impassable
Is it true they fail to victim?
Why few are seized and bailed
Why is becoming a song
With big budget of state security
It is real a wonderful music I hear
Like dum! dum! dum! express your self
For the blood spreads everywhere
And ruin national’s development
A blood of foolish and stupid
Riching capitalist and bourgeoisie
Protected by leaders and ministers
That undermine equality and improvement
Branding abuse is irony
Preventive education is nonsense
These are extravagances and exploitation
The solution is simple I suggest
Killing the flower of production
That bee buzzes for her saccharine
Sanitize your hands before
You open up the door.
Grab a tissue to protect
From germs left there before.
Purell spigots on the walls
Everywhere you turn.
Still, despite these offerings,
Most people never learn.
Hospitals are breeding grounds
For every type of germ.
Even if you’re visiting,
You may wind up infirm.
Years ago, before we knew
How microbes make us sick,
We’d take our medicines and hope
That we’d feel better quick.
Now we have preventive tips
That help us, there’s no doubt;
But if you’re in the hospital,
Then hurry and get out!
