truths

civility rolled off autumns tongue after forty three and neigh a year coursing through four noble turns and twice unfolding the tear.

in her hands i'd rarely leep, occasionally for some sufferings sleep
and in the tree's i'd hang for she, often offered nothing of burglary

sheep and beep her alarms did seek, to conquer with force my earthly smell, learning to drink her milky swim i have lost verbs again

I don’t like the da, da da, da dark
Keep the nightlight on, please!
I would rather sit in the park
With the Sun always on, you see
I for real really don’t like the dark
Especially when evil lurking shadows
Leep out at me, sneak up on me
I would really rather be
Kneading some luminescent Play Do
Eating some glowing (s)lime green Jello
Skipping silver dollars in the pool
Being a downright good fellow
I will not goof around like a fool
Just sipping da margaritas
And being really really mellow and cool

That’s me, mellow and cool

Premium Member Rain Day Lovers

Rainy day lovers huddled beneath a soft blue silk blanket
Abandoning the world and leaving it to its shenanigans we,
Iatrical healers, loved each other as the rain fell gently down.
Nature sounds poured into our ears like the gentle thrum of our hearts
Years have come and gone but I will never forget that rainy day in bed

Daytime lovers laugh and splash in the puddles but night time lovers
Abort the sun and marry the moon for the sake of one magical night
Years have come and gone but I will never forget that rainy day in bed

Lovers from the start never noticing the age. We just lived for
One another like two young teenagers. Years opened like origami paper
Vigilant eyes, soft lips and warm bodies. We wrinkled but never declined.
Each day is a gift. Rain or sun it doesn't matter, if you love *
Rest assured my love I won't forget that rainy day, nor your misty smile
Sleep safe in God's protect and know, these were memories of our time.

hummingbirds with chartreuse throats
scared to fly off the ground
favored tightrope walking
where the sky and ocean collide
she considered attempting flight
another time a circus visited town
another area where she may hide
hidden under a fake scowl

      nestled comfortably away
      from the mother bird's picks
      a fledgling with propensity
      with paralytic rhinitis

      without plucking feathers
      to reveal a fractured limb
      or scars carved into wings
      stitched together
a dinky bird soon gasped for air
      hurriedly touched line
      and took on a Goliath.
                                                     leep
                                                    *

                                  weird and delicate.
                                                                  misfits

A Good Knight's Leep

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall...

It was said back then

She was having a ball

but got too excited

and took a rough fall.

She looked for King's horses,

finding four of them

without their riders

in the light again...

So she looked for the Cat

Who said he knew 'that'

But had no path to the fixing ...

There the egg lay

with no plan in play

and no one doing the finding...

But then after time

there came a slight rhyme

that sounded like a road to healing...

A familiar pet

From a magic core set

Bet her mind to find

the Operation ....

So she removed two pair

and without Uncles chair

Created her way

to Well again.

A Magician watched

from across the road

finding Love in this clever code!

And so gave her egg a new pen...

" it's quite all right to be, Long "

Natalia’s expecting her very first child
Early morning sickness thankfully it is mild
When feeling first kick, husband and wife smiled

Baby names chosen for girls and boys
Eager friends buy clothing and soft toys
Great excitement at Natalia’s due date
Isaac and Natalia simply cannot wait
No sign of contractions, the time drags by
Next day labor and baby gives a hearty cry
Incredible joy when they take baby home
Now life’s complete with their son Jerome
Getting into routine, they’re finding it strange
Sleep deprivation – both hope that will change!

L-ooks like equally-bright.

C-omforting star in the sky
