Leprechaun leaping is against the law, but it was okay in days of old
When a leprechaun could increase his life saving, by leaping his gold.
The magic that went into this effort is a secret unknown by most.
My cousin secretly does it, but we are not allowed to mention this or boast.
In the remoteness of a shady forest,
where human presence is too rare,
wild deer have found a home to rest
and there they hide from their hunter
be it some heartless man, an eagle or bear;
they stay closer to their vigilant mother!
Small leaping deer follow her everywhere,
and patently she guides them teaching safety,
they have eaten enough leaves
from the thick berries shrubs;
what they miss is a sparkling brook
nearby to quench their thirst,
will they settle for warm milk,
or go hungry and feel worst?
No, they grunt and don't want only water:
the doe stares at them and leads them away,
realizing that hunger makes them weak!
They have gotten away from their hunter
quite a few times, using the few tricks
they learned quickly from mother deer;
can they be as lucky as they were in tender years?
Somehow, they must survive in restricted freedom,
not ever being caught by roaring predators that loom
behind trees and be killed by their deadly spear
in the peaceful wilderness that turns its deaf ear!
Leaping Lizard™ was
a frog that jump the high hurdles
while Paul Pollywog™ swims and wiggles
...can't run nor jump cuz' got no legs
to jump with he juz spits, sips and giggles...

Quantum leaping across the universe,
I found myself, my spirit; a lovely reunion with my past selves!
Childhood delight midst leaping spree
with skipping rope setting feet free
energized to count “One-two-three”
exposing exuberant glee.
Such was I with my peers so dear
decades ago showing glad cheer
kids defying downfall fear
soaring high along active gear.
Now, exercising through jump rope
from hopping strain my heart does cope
while striving for healthiness scope
for wellness management I hope.
Toward faith*-leap for service height
spirit ascends in prayer plight
thanking the Lord Who grants blest might
with His grace, compassion and light.
*Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Four lines -- seven, eight, nine:*
kaleidoscopic kangaroo
leaping 'cross lagoons of blue
splashed peripatetic porcupine
who shot a quill at her behind

In open country
chances are he'll be running.
Knowing the sound of every wind-shift
he'll cradle his life in the rock-a-bye cornsticks
hind legs bunched for the big bolt forward
to spring over runaway ground.
Today, in the photograph
which I have called "Hare Leaping"
he will take forever to complete one bound.
Painted horses leaping, faster and faster,
I hold on tightly as my tangled hair is flying;
a sweet carnival memory of a childhood summer.
Painted horses leaping!
The amusement park is twirling and whirling,
of this horse, I alone, am the master;
father is holding me, to keep me from falling.
My dappled horse is quite a leaper!
The Merry Go Round is now gently slowing,
and I kiss my painted horse on his head;
"Can I ride him again, please father?
Painted horses leaping!

Once in a quatrain she rhymes and leap
Brings a couple for my work and weep
Sings a duet and some extra sleep
Making my winter month grows a day more.

I want to leap
From my present life
Into the future
To find out the
Winning lottery numbers
So, that when I return
I'll know what numbers
To play and win!
I also want to learn
The recipe to being
successful in life
JANUARY 18, 2020
In the morning light
Happy birds singing their duets
The owl sleeps and dream
A willow tree weeps for rain
Thirsty brown leaves frowning
A thunderous storm
Soaking up the desert sand
Frogs leaping in ponds
Didactic description of feelings
Sunrise in the rain
Birth of rainbow in darkness
Depth of joys that makes words lame to whisper
Flawless imperfect figure
Sweetness swaying my heart to leap
Dark skin of deep lucid thoughts
Thou art my sire and desire
The beauty of loving is explicit with you
My eve of forever
The moon may shield the stars
The sun shy in dark clouds
But my love for you will know no cowardice.
