After the glistening stars have spoken,
Night has fallen, soft and quiet, with poise,
Reflecting all the hearts that have broken,
Shattered by the winds, such a ghastly noise.
After the gentle moon finds its shadow,
Still as the quaint forest in its glory
Beautiful tears, like dew, tumble so slow
Early moments of grief in the story.
After the graceful flames ignite the soul,
Embracing tears, kissing away the fears,
Then appears God’s breathless light to console,
Heartening dreams in tales like Shakespear’s.
Night soon gestures to trees in their bright green,
Enchanting hearts as summer starts to grieve.
LAUNCH
In the Yard I was serving my time
When they launched a new ship of the line
Four funnels had she
And as big as could be
She sent shivers right through my spine
The stupendous lot I had to munch
Made it A Mind-Blowing lunch,
Besides The final Served bunch
My aching teeth could crunch …
A quest for An Enriching Lunch
And it begot A Memorable lunch
I hadn’t its signaling hunch…
A By-Degrees Superb lunch,
In dimension A Brunch,
In Kung fu A Kick, in Boxing A Punch
To survive it A Bunch …
A lunch like a missile launch
That should explode A Glutton’s Paunch.
Too wet
To play
Read day
Today
Good book
Get hooked
Minds stray
Away
Sweet tune
Sung soon
Cow, moon,
Fork, spoon
Gat knew:
Jump too
Then Gat
Tells Bat
"Oh, man!
Bad plan!
Risk flirt,
Get hurt!"
Nut sling?
Stretch string?
"Like that!",
Says Bat
Same gig,
Just big
Slingshot
Real taut
Juno
Let go
To sky!
“You’ll die!”
In air,
Up there!
Miss trees?
Oh, please!
Moon sought,
Branch caught
In trees:
Live bees!
Got stung,
Then hung
Tree limb
Saved him
Gat now
Had cow!
"Dumb Bat,
Knew that!"
Survives,
Eight lives
Homebound
On ground
New tune
No moon!
North Korea launched F U-2
But it headed toward Peru!
Said Xi Jinping,
"That's quite some sting
For the want of a tighter screw!"
The best 2021 perk
Was a space flight for Captain Kirk
An Enterprise
Where no one dies
Proving fantasy just might work
There’s never enough time.
With minutes left, I search for your face.
I hope I see it soon, among the stars.
I’ve stalled & drug around buying time
Until you arrive, to no avail.
There’s never enough time.
Everyone’s always in such an uproar.
It would be easier if I could take you
With me.
With minutes left I search for your face,
Life flashing before my eyes.
Our passion a countdown to the last
Second.
Soon we’ll be on display for all to see,
& I will love you shamelessly & complete.
An untamed galaxy, my breath yours
For the taking.
Soon we’ll blast off.
With minutes left, I search for your face.
There’s never enough time.
It would be easier to take you with me.
If dreams only worked that way,
In terms of cosmic implosions.
I’d be dead.
However long it takes until launch
Caress me
my darling
pull my hair strings
touch me till I sing
Be off with me again
Over and over
Darling so charming
tender voiced-touch my heart
allow my spirit, soul to launch

I do smell the scent of autumn's breeze;
Dancing all around me;
As the winds movements allow the trees;
To coral and embrace me;
Beautifully

Getting ready to soar to the stars,
Into space launches Elon his cars.
He'll be needing a car.
For he plans to live far.
And there's no public transit on Mars.
Your face could launch a thousand ships
I look upon your dreadful form
Your face defies the presumed look
And with your temperament so mean
Your lips would crack to feign a smile
You seethe the anger of your foes
A ghastly, grotesque, gruesome stance
If perhaps you would change your mood
It’s just because it’s not as cruel
Your face could launch a thousand ships
To beam onto your beady eyes
And blast you to the next eclipse

As I glance at the steadfast stars aloft
in a somber black mood, ship's
sails billow across celestial waves.
My smile died with memories
not wiped away, 'twas my choice.
How many times a day did I
watch your beautiful face in my daydreams.
Your face could launch a thousand ships.
As hard as it's going to be,
I'm willing to let you go
so you can go on with your life.
You're going to be happy;
that's all that matters.
The very thought of it
is like a knife in my heart
twisting and turning
each time I imagine
someone else has taken you.
I allowed myself to get close to you;
I'm willing to love you from afar.

Helens face launched a thousand ships
Do you believe she desired a legacy such as this
To be the center of a war
All for a love that she could not control
Many people live, die and fight for love
It’s the strongest emotion that drives us on
It makes do the craziest of things
It inspires the songs we sing
It’s far better than that feeling of hate
But either one can leave disaster in its wake
Love is powerful, love is strong
Use it with care so that it does no wrong
But as Helen of Troy found out
That when you fall in love without a doubt
It can cause empires to fall
And can wreak havoc with us all
So take care but never be afraid to share
Love with those people for whom you care.

You were beautiful to look at
No one could deny
Your smile
The red stain
Your face could launch a thousand ships
What passed your lips would sink them

your eyes of a darker hue
captivate the rising sun
its red dressed cape surrounds your face
and draws me in like quicksand
in the farthest meadows hummingbirds slow flight
so they may see beauty as you quietly pass by
my eyes slowly lift to soak in each delicate glorious glow
that rests upon your skin
rendered shadows caress each curve
bursting in technicolor
your mouth parts like a dew-soaked rose
opening its petals to the morning
your eyes are alive
breathing life from two orchids dancing in soft light
reaching for the sun
and I, gaze upon the face of beauty
like a trembling fawn hid in the forest
