They
            promised
            whole
            honey...

            gave
            only
            gall...

            took off
             blue
             sky...

           gave us
            Nero
            blue...

          we lost
          hexa
          anyway...

         forever

rise(iamb,anapest)

TWO
    meters
            fall(trochee,dactyl)
in my poem they do sit
each the others opposite;

a foot is two syllables long,
lines of them make up my song
any such line..is fine
mono,di,tri..1,2,3
tetra,penta,hexa..4,5,6
hepta,octa..7,8
but..
if this topic still makes you yawn
just keep on with open form!

Premium Member Hope

Hopes are buried treasures
Gold daffodils of spring
A faith seed planted deep
Watered by love's well-spring
A farmer's garden tilled
With no evidence green

Faith inside the seeds
Waits for warmth and rain
When everything's right
The plants spring forth seen
Hope's now evident

Confidence shown
Hope now revealed
An assurance
Support displayed

Hope's exposed
In flowers
Garden seed

Faith, hope
These two

Seen

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

Diminished Hexaverse has 6 stanza's
Hexa means six...

Treasures of Your Soul

Unique, past memories
reside in the deepest
depths of the conscious and
unconscious infinite
mind and tender heart as
true treasures of your soul.

Special places where
no one can deny
profound or simple
thoughts of dear ones that
are made of pure gold.

Encountered times
drift serenely
imparting joy
and not malaise.

Personal
connections
for calm days;

Treasures
of your

soul. (original diminished hexa-verse-6)

Hexa What

Hexa What ?

Caught tight here in your arms
I find peace with your charge
Hid for now from life's harms
Blind, hurt, put up by charm
Love with you can be hard
And I am still here chard

  Hold me close right here
Bring me peace I hear
Kiss me soft now dear
Chase way all the fear
Hold me, love me here

  A gift we share
We took a dare
Had a child here
No time for air

  Hold me here
Shed a tear
I miss you

  I cried
We wept
