My Fearful Heart

  Fearful Heart

I want to open the most fragile part of me—my fearful heart.
I miss you. You slip into my mind, and your heart sets me on fire.
Inside, I am torn from holding back every emotion.
Each day becomes a question of my life, a wandering path with no clear vision.
Your aura, your soul, your energy—
you were the breath that saved me.
Our conversations became threads of the same rhythm,
our love urging forward but shadowed by fear.
A love so extraordinary it numbs me,
Yet I have pain deeply
Facing life without you is dark
First time in months I feel my life spark
You are but a loveless shadow
Your aura has faded
My Heart of Hearts will again glow

Fearful Realizations

My days are void of color
It seems I cannot speak your name
My consciousness lives within my memories
Holding only myself to blame.

The bleakness of reality
My soul, it perseveres
It lives far outside these bricks
I'm left alone with just my fears:

I am one broken half
To a whole I long to be
I am the shards of shattered glass
Of the crystal rose you once made me.

I am sharp cruel edges
Broken thorns, scuffed out shine
I am every tear shed in secrecy
Every single dishonest "I'm fine."

I am drops of paint beneath tables
Hidden corners, lacking grout
I am every hope and wish and promise
That everyone forgot about.

Premium Member fearful of Aunt Marthas Reaction

Do not want my aunt Martha to read this article
It is about her
She runs into my house shaking it
I am fearful at her reaction
“This is your mother, isn’t it?” she demands
It is actually part of me and them
and everyone else I have ever known

Premium Member Dreaded

There was a gentle tiger named Dreaded
He met a donkey who was hardheaded
That donkey just wasn’t afraid
Refusing to run, he stayed
Dreaded roared loud, “you’re just too pigheaded”!

I'm Fearful Of That Menacing Look

Is it meanness or even jealousy:
a plot to harm me heartlessly?
I'm fearful of that menacing look,
it's a horror story I read in a book!

Your intentions are extremely evil,
you put on the face of the Devil;
I stay wide awake, sleep won't ever come,
I don't look fine, I thought this was home!

I'm fearful of that menacing look,
If I say hello to someone, I get a lecture;
you come running and a make a gesture
not too pleasant and call me a jerk!

I can be jealous too, mine is not an obsession...
yours is and believe me it scares me quite a lot;
my affairs are in the past tense, I use discretion:
nobody touches me, I don't lie, I do what is right!

I'm fearful of that menacing look,
I isolate myself, if I hear a knock
on that door: I stay put and ignore
your silly screams that hurt to core!

Death is just a fearful lie

Death is just a fearful lie,
A nagging fear of what is isn't.
A terrible tale of the great beyond,
Pray to your god, or his god, or hers,
Maybe a chance to die with a future.

Do as you’re told, what is right,
Nothing less.
Do a silly dance,
A potato on your head.
Stand in neat lines, waiting to end.
“You lived a good life, go forward to death,”
The angel just says,
“Follow the path, first door on your left.”

Through the door, a button,
A button marked “Respawn.”
A restart to your life, going over and over,
Redo as you’re told, what is right,
Nothing more.
Do a silly dance,
A potato on your head.
Stand in neat lines, waiting to end.
“You lived your life right, go forward to death,”
The angel just says,
“Follow the path, first door on your left.”

Through the door, a button,
A button marked “Respawn.”
A restart to your life, going over and over.
Redo as you’re told. That’s hardly fun.
Do what your like,
Watch a movie,
Go on dates.
Die unpredicted,
Skydiving at 80.
“You lived your life happy, go forward to death,”
The angel just says,
“Follow the path, first door on your right.”

Through the door, a button.
A button marked,
“The End.”

In a fix , outspoken, and fearful too

Your index is still in grip than your appendix.
Your words are still in repulsion of mirror, consciously.
It does kill, I think, both ways. indecision as a pill cutter and anti-cutter
Three subjects wide ruled lines, even though
the very first one did not melt, so far.
Yet, these days, they do come again, as long-lost sun lights.
Once a study table with a glass top, used to believe that.
there was a student.
sweating to study,
harder and harder in watching lives, passing by, finetuning and fines and dues.
and tuning in the farthest try than in nearer sigh,
happening democracy in the pressing opposite
cramming the fine paper space in an obscure awkward offset
Where words fall short to heed or hide
or make a duo in understanding altogether.

Looking inwardly, I am too
Or else, it is better to let go
Truly it is far better to let go
than to hold back a strenuous good bye
That should end at least half an hour ago
Peculiarly, blossoming at the doorstep, once again!

Premium Member Fearful of Godmonkey

Godmonkey’s new driver was too speechless to talk
Especially when Godmonkey said he would get out and walk
Gilbert was startled by Godmonkey’s unusual request.
You have to loosen up Godmonkey said, don’t be like the rest.

Gilbert had heard rumors about monkeys being drowned.
Next to witches, goblins, alligators, and a princess that was crowned.
He was terrified of his new boss, but he let him out right away.
You have to get some rest, Godmonkey said. See you Tuesday.

Fearful Fate

I'm afraid of my fate, so uncertain and vast,
A labyrinth of choices, a tempest that lasts.
In the depths of my soul, a tremor takes hold,
Whispering doubts and fears, a story untold.

Will I stumble in darkness, lost and alone?
Or find strength in my heart, a place to call home?
The threads of my destiny, woven in disguise,
Tangle and twist, as time swiftly flies.

Oh, what lies ahead, beyond the horizon's gaze?
A symphony of triumphs or a tragic malaise?
Will fortune favor me, with its gentle embrace?
Or cast me aside, a forgotten soul in this space?

I yearn for the answers, yet they dance out of sight,
Like elusive fireflies on a moonless night.
But I'll face my fears, with courage ablaze,
Embracing the unknown, in its mysterious ways.

For within my trembling heart, a flicker of hope,
A beacon that guides me, helps me to cope.
Though uncertainty lingers, like a shadow unkind,
I'll chart my own path, leaving fear far behind.

So, I'll embrace my fate, with courage unbowed,
For the future awaits, like a canvas unwound.
I'll write my own story, with each step I take,
Fear may tremble within, but it won't make me break.

Premium Member Fearful of Fierce Faced Creature

who is she? curious wind asked the forest trees
unsure at this time, but she has sheep at her knees
fuzzy sheep were silent, not bleating at all
fearful of chubby face herder this fall

she was wearing a dress which made her look like a doll
and yet, by her fierce face, she did not look kind at all
the night gave her a wide path and the wind stole away
and as for her name, this creature never did say

Premium Member Fearful of Inadequacy

I tell myself, abandoned by my own shadows long ago. Thoughts of embrace, but not the courage. I just desire to be appreciated for who I am even with my flaws. A black feather perches in my soul. Dreams of shouts for freedom, my empty words echo emotions built and have died for a reason. Someone to still love and forgive my mistakes I've made in the past to have strong hands and arms to hold me tight and whispered good morning, be warm with concern can be kissed goodnight. Fearful, of inadequacy inhibit my mind. How much longer is this going to last. I didn't realize this was too much to ask from the person my body and soul loves. I just desire to be appreciated for who I am.

alone to the nights
whimpering in gloom darkness
drizzle rhythmic hum

Premium Member Fearful Lizard

Dinosaur means fearful lizard in Greek
Seeing one today would be quite a freak
T-Rex had banana-like teeth
Seeing one eat would make me shriek
Loudly and proudly, not a mere squeak.
