Premium Member Around The Camp Fire

________________________________________________________

Beauty comes down effortlessly, fire glows higher.
The flames flicker and dance as they illuminate the dark.
Bright fingers of crimson and gold, reaching skyward,
Now and then embers would escape with a loud spark.

Lingering moments nestle on paused quiet respite.
Amidst the smoky scent of our cozy campfire.
The overwhelming aroma of our campfire is quite surreal.
Familiar sensations waft into an aromatic spire.

Questing reprisal still the undergrowth vanquished ways.
The fragrances so inviting, mixed with earthy sprays.
As the breeze diminishes so our campfires warmth we feel.
The eucalyptus enhances a perfume, in a smoky haze.

Jacaranda kindling lingers, memories now over prone.
The spellbinding flames flicker, casting shadows of their own.
As the dark velvet night closes in, our fire glistens in tone.
It’s all made more spectacular by our campfire’s cologne.

Premium Member Thyme and Lavender Time

Thyme and Lavender, in time to purify where Earth meets feet,
Bathed in springs, so soothing and sweet.
Nature's spirituous spices give blessings,
And they're forever making the winds refreshing.
Wise chefs blend the cauldron of spices,
Herbal passages to culinary horizons.

Kin to mint, Thyme's a delight to nature's family.
Thyme is said to guard against ancient immunity.
Aromatherapy with Thyme lifts one's mind
To realms marked by stars and roots intertwined.
Thyme's perfume sings through stones and blooms,
So gather it reverently before it enhances indoor rooms.

Lavender also smells great
On one's body or served on a plate.
In moonlight rites, it's added to the bath
As a charm for various cures of the homeopath.
It springs from the soil with other chanting plants.
Then, with maritime breeze affinity, it surely enchants.

Thyme and Lavender would float fancy-free
With Enchantresses bathing happily.
Thyme and Lavender will endure in time,
And enhance lives when added to one's paradigm.
Pleasing us each and every day,
These spices sweeten time's sachet.
They soothe us in their scented displays
In the mornings and at twilight's grand display!

Premium Member THE IMPORTANCE OF ANTICIPATION

May we all be blessed to understand
how important anticipation is to every facet of our life
from our friends to our family…

How anticipation of a moment
not only makes the joy of that moment last a little longer
But enhances its memory.

Premium Member Makeup

That decision you make daily to wear your real face or not
Deciding to "makeup" what dont have instead of wearing what you got
Honestly makeup seems to be a girls bestfriend
Long lashes and thick lips seems to be the latest trend
Yes wearing makeup puts on who you're pretending to be
Then when you go natural people are surprised by what they see
Makeup causes people to treat you better than they did before
Life is less complicated with it on so you buy more
People are beginning to notice you among the classy and conceited
Makeup enhances your beauty but now you think you need it
"L'Oréal" wears makeup to stay "Gorgio Armani's" "Cover Girl"
All it takes is a name brand makeup to be who you want in this world

Premium Member WHAT NATURE IS TRYING TO TEACH US

When you look at a field of sunflowers…even though they all share the same name
you quickly notice how no two sunflowers are the same.

How each sunflower has their own unique beauty…their own allure…their own appeal
How each sunflower’s beauty enhances the beauty of the field.

Sunflowers, raindrops, trees, leaves….are are all doing their best to reach us….
I wonder if we humans will ever learn…what nature is trying to teach us.

Blood On The Rails

Through struggle
one can justify life
Losing the battle
enhances the view
Blood on the rails
all markings assured
Death as the prize
— recurring anew

Premium Member Pride in Their Hair

Be dark or fair, folk have pride in their hair
Although often hair leads one to despair
Finding it's tousled and tied up in knots
After sleeping upon one's precious locks.

Or when hair has been lovingly blow-dried
Getting caught in the rain and tears are cried
For you and me hair’s our crowning glory
Without hair on head tops, what would life be.

Hair enhances one’s looks, protects one’s fun
Stops scalps from burning when out in the sun
It keeps heads warm when the weather is cold
Hair's certainly worth its value in gold.

Through the years my hair has turned shades of grey
It can't be helped, it's simply natures way
I don't mind the grey, I treasure the gift
That brightens the day, giving one a lift.

My humble blessings may have you appalled
Because of them who happen to be bald
To me being bald is beauteous too
What's in the heart, not on the head, makes you.

Premium Member Beautiful, Rare, Valuable Gemstones

Black opal is the rarest and most valuable opal for distinctive vibrant
“play-of-color”, as the dark body tone of the stone enhances the
beautiful and brilliant colors of blues, greens, yellows, oranges and
fiery reds. It is an exceptional opal that can rival or surpass diamonds.

Blue paraiba tourmaline is rare and valued for unique, electric color,
renowned for vivid, vibrant neon blue green to turquoise hues.
It is the most rarest of tourmalines for incandescent glow that
appears to light up the stone and is sought by gem collectors.

Weight of a gaze

Eyes: the window to the soul, the gate to your tears, the mirror of memories and of ghosts that linger near.
Eyes: some forever glazed by the blurring of sorrow, some haunted by the past and some cursed to hold tomorrow.
Eyes: the way you see the world, and the way the world sees you. Reflecting every colour, every shade, every hue.
Eyes: they see, they feel, they hear too close, too deep. Carrying unspoken stories, secrets they must keep.
Cursed or blessed, they blink, they stare.
Picking apart the world they view with a knowing, silent glare.
From lingered looks to stolen glances.
They depict, translate – every gaze enhances.
They light up, they sputter out, they glitter and glint or they dull and dim.
Holding laughter, pain and love trapped within.
So, don’t walk in someone else’s shoes-
look through their eyes, feel what they feel.
Only then will you understand:
Eyes hold much more than just tears.

Premium Member Dreamer and the Dreamed

Although we dream in our sleep, it is not always remembered.
I'd like to dream a thought that enhances my day.
A dream that keeps me smiling as my life takes on its journey.
I don't want nightmares as they cloud your mind, and takes
away the joys.

No, I'd like to dream the joy of meeting the one who created me.
And how the light would allow me to see, its everlasting presence.
I don't want to die, just to know what it is. And how it feels. And if
what I heard is true. Not that I doubt, what faith pulls me through.

Vision

The eyes perceive the unscripted,
A light emerging from oblivion,
Faith enhances its brightness as it draws near,
While tenacity serves as the driving force,
The unscripted emerges from invisibility,
Accompanied by awe and bewilderment upon its arrival.
