Dualities Poems | Examples

Premium Member Internal Humanity

Thinking, deciding, and cuddling all muddle flow.
I'm not a wiz; I solve, yet my riddles, I know
My thoughts and deeds, like an artists', are creative.
My reflecting and planning are liberative.
Should dews of hope be erased by beams of despair?
Should my compassion change as per seasonal air?

There are unconscious courses in my mind and soul.
Like webs that fuse each fleck and speck into a whole
Nightmares that slaughter peace within the inner shrine's core
Feeling that, like birds, above the skies of mind sore
Impulsive admiration of flimsy beauty
All this progress as though a soon-to-do duty

Love, happiness, forgiveness, compassion, and trust
Collide with loneliness, helplessness, and disgust
Self-awareness, like a breeze between tempests, struggles
Between beliefs and doubts, there are silent rubbles.
While sour dualities of good and bad exist
Isn't there, between each straight-seeming path, a twist?

Premium Member Janus Face

Two faces; two juxtaposed deportments; two qualities;
On one hand, past pains; on the other, future jollities
Janus, the Roman god of progress and dualities
Dwells with keys of the door, gate, and threshold formalities

I have it. Each one has. One is true. The other is false.
Safe like love and hope; heard-earned treasure-like brings many walts
Springing like hemlocks from mental mud insecurities
Brings manipulative and deceptive impurities.

Trust erodes; communion corrodes; inner turmoil is born.
With anger, fear, and sadness, equilibrium is torn.
Vocation is jeopardized; calm communion is curtailed;
Energy and synergy quirks and smirks are veiled and failed.

Confidence, compassion, and creativity are must.
Together with honesty, loyalty, love, hope, and trust
Learning from the past and flourishing into the future
And living and letting live be our monistic nature

Transcend Duality

I've heard the opposite of love is indifference,
I think something different than that,
It's hate, though the hollows of nothing, far worse,
Solidified matter of fact,
Only through hate can we know of love's place,
Just as sweltering sweat makes us cold,
And the way that the moon steals sunlight for the night,
Day to dark, when cowards to bold,
In my relative time here on Earth I have seen,
Blinding pain allows joy to exist,
And I think about life after death, God and hell,
Honestly hard to tell which is which,
I seek endlessly for answers to questions unknown,
Choose between keeping peace or to fight,
Finding yin and yang as a guide, always wrong,
But then again, never not right,
All the same, here we are, none and all, simultaneously,
Differentiating between the twos,
When one is the other, the other the one,
Dualities transcend me and you.

Premium Member Live Like a Bird

Life is a stage,
And we, singers reveling its meaning
In the guise of a vibrant symphony!

Life is the sky itself,
Allowing us to fly and soar
In its high avenues,
Like a bird living solely
For the sake of its freedom!

Why,
Unchain yourself from that which holds you back
Untie your wings from your back
And allow yourself to soar,
As much as you would want to
And as high as you would want to
Caring not for your falls
Since, though this world is made of dualities,
It seeks to see you being happy upon its soils,
Living while being carefree and bubbling with laughter
For a bird you are,
Tuning your songs according to the seasons and the tides
That offer themselves to you!

Just follow your instincts
And fly towards
Where your heart bids you to!

From Doubt To Certainty

Good sense suppose of all things equally shared,
everyone’s abundance of thoughts much cared.
Those who are most difficult to satisfy,
larger measure of doubt in mental sky.
Sense of reason by diversity and consequence,
some endowed with larger shares and righteous reference.
The well conducted mind by natural equality applied,
likewise to the glories aberration taken as guide.
Wishing of equality in purity of thoughts,
to clearness and distinctness that open mental knots.
Giving fullness to wisdom memories and conduction,
reared beliefs on ethical foundations infirm seduction.
Enfoldment in time for specific growth as certitude,
dualities of soul through dependencies viewed.
Composition and evidence of dependency,
unequal desires and its moral handicap to see.
Dependence of reason instead of revelation,
creating authority issues of great sensation.
The wise being conscious of duality in soul,
working order of eternal certainty as whole.

Dualities of Life

Joys,
sorrows ,
good and bad,
are dualisms
present since eternity. We all seek
good sans bad, ever thought which is better?
Hardships strengthens,
shows life truths,
ends our
sins.
~~~~~
When
we think
positive,
are calm even
in miseries, they vanish on their own.
Root cause of miseries are our desires.
When desireless,
our mind is
full of
bliss.
~~~~~
If
we have
faith in God
and think all that
he does is for our good, our sadness ends.
If we resolve to be happy at all
times nothing can
steal inner
joy from
us
~~~~~
Mind
is a
blank canvas,
we can paint on
it as per our wish. If we paint happy
thoughts our life becomes exhilarating.
Wise men know that
they are soul
not the
flesh.
~~~~~
Equanimous at all times, devoid of
all attachments,
wise lead a
life of
bliss.

As the Broken Form Out of Pieces

The treasure we elude
'tis locked--it is buried
Dormant, o', tower
Riddance from shackling desire,
In this siege of waking, prevailing;
As truer intentions they could slander

Dualities' consonance,
Mustered,
Past sights of treacherous oceans--
A path opens
One's guide to the cosmos
And its pathway through fires
Is one but to shed
Cindering feelings of righteousness

Out of ashes thrusting 'lighter'
Pheonix's arising,
Cleanse all thundered brethren,
Reminiscent of heaven's lightning...

Spirituality and October

October is the season of fall
Everything from tree does fall
Solitary it stands calm and tall
Epitomizes highest goal of all

Bare tree represents state of liberation
No procession, thoughts, feelings
Mental stillness, no earthly dealings
Happily witnessing soul salvation

October picturizes death and life
All born will die it does say
Only to be reborn another day
Transient is everything in life

Don't be attached it clearly does lay
Practice equanimity in dualities of life
Hold on to hope in all your strife
Keep faith steady, don't let mind sway

Eternal soul is your real entity
You should not bother about triviality
About world you should maintain neutrality
And try to realise your soul, your actuality,

Premium Member Broken Dreams Conjoined

In your squish hug the arms subtly transform
into the wrap of heart’s enchanted embrace,
transfers the lingered yearning latent within,
setting sail in the stream of my ardent ardor.

In the fervent sea it braces the shoulder of waves,
their crests adorned by the pearls of your smile,
entwined with the lattice of mesmeric moonbeam,
its sparkle splashes on my spirit, illumining me.

You come close in my fold, our shadow intertwine,
dispersed dualities mingle to fuse into oneness.
Even when the tides of time pulls you away far,
I feel you are ethereally embellished within me.

When in the fading gleam of the twilight tinge,
you return entranced, I take you in my arms,
all the strewn shards of my broken dreams
conjoin into wholeness in an instant of eternity.

Premium Member Indiscernible Void

I glimpsed our horizon echoing Sun
Voluminous sets of waves whispered crest
Neath, its silent swarm's hushed sealife possess
A sullen saffron lens rise slumbered some

Dualities of grand expanse, lay calm
Aquarium of a glassless shore stills
The constant vastness of two voids fulfills
Indiscernible range touch spreads aplomb.

Hands to lips flung a kiss ferry o'er a crowded room as a single kiss falls to a floor, unnoticeable to all, except to its deliverer and of course, being the exploit,

A secretive chance for a budding romance enters a phase in shape of a maze of a hall of mirrors within a house of horrors and the vague, willing to the unable, engages,

Third times a charm enters the calm, of the quietude of an early eve's mood, as dusk make haste to night's embrace, the final endeavor in stages;

the audible...mute,
the visual...blind,
the indiscernible...void.

Dualities

I cannot choose
When one hurts me
The other heals
When one disappoints me
The other appears ... with love.
There is no one without the other
Dualities are present within.
& without... I'd be singular.
Upset.
Depressed.
Instead
I choose to be whole.
Happy.
I need both to complete my cycle.
I will not choose.
I can not.
Without choosing everything remains possible.

Being Both

You're strong
I acknowledge that
You're weak
I accept that
Your dualities are
perplexing
My contradicting darling

Be humble
Stay as you are
Keep smiling
When tears aren't far
Your gentle spirit makes
my heart sing
My contradicting darling

Stand tall
Set your feet
Shield up
Fear takes a back seat
Your strong convictions
make you a king
My contradicting darling

For every day there is a
night
For every wrong there is
a right
Being you must be no
easy thing
My contradicting darling
