When Cupids Arrow Aims For You

Seldom misses
Life then blisses

Premium Member Cupid's Arrow

Tingly skies full of surprise, oh how I love when with surmise,
the little rascal aims his dart as if it were poetic art!
He will deliberately ambush you and your entire tush
with a gush loaded arrow he does romantically push
into hearts genuine states of goofy, gooeyed, loving mush.

No one on this earth can evade him, only love persuades him.
With silent wings, he flies towards the fun gains when his will done.
No one has a clue concerning who will be romancing who
and there's no sense in guessing - romance is at Cupid's questing.
When cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do!

Senses ' Di-Vices

Hear, hear!
I can feel her heart drift

Who knows why she loves me
I hate the smell of Cupid’s grift

She puts her finger to my lips
I taste her brüt silence

Behind my eyes
Dionysus watches neon signs shift

Gotcha!

Tingly skies full of surprise oh how I love when with surmise,
the little rascal aims his dart as if it were, poetic art!

He conceals behind the blush of day,
nips in, then dashes back away
with grinning lips and silver bow,
he strikes before I even know.

A stranger smirk, I feel the spark—
my calm heart a blind bargain,
no shield, no plan, no grand excuse,
just twisted thoughts and love let loose.

Now here I am, without a clue…
when cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do!

Tingly skies full of surprise, oh how I love when with surmise,
The little rascal aims his dart, as if it were poetic art.
It hits it's mark on the brightest day or in the dark.
Cupid's aim is always good, he chooses his targets as he should.
He knew that I was meant for you from the start, so he aimed right for my heart.
I tried wearing an arrow proof vest, but he knew best.
I overheard a whisper as he ran away, "Gotcha, Gotcha" he was heard to say.
When Cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do!

Tingly skies full of surprise- oh how I love when with surmise,
the little rascal aims his dart as if it were, poetic art.

Like magic, when he pulls his bow,
two hearts then tether in love's glow.
His arrow binds them then as one
to spin beneath the lover's sun
as special feelings grow and flow.

This happened when I was eighteen.
It started with a friendship scene,
yet soon dear Cupid's arrow struck!
Now sixty-seven years of luck
still makes our love together gleam.

When cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do !

SONNET OF LIMERENCE

Obscured Cupid as a brimming stream
To drench when thou hath bathe

Transformed he as a adherence
And hath entwined ye abdomen

Disguised as maid in thy harem
To admire your ravishing beauty

Art thou giveth aroma to flowers?
For sure! when thou blush, feel I.

Chisels he, insanely thy name
On his love-shaft

Beneath the Sea, scribes he bewitching songs
That testaments his lunatic love on you

Why thou maketh virile men fanatic?
Cupid! Ensconse her from this tranquil earth.

SONNET ON CUPID

Oh! illusion of all illusions
Art thou incarnated as Cupid?

Depicted ye with wings
And hath armed with love-shaft

Entwines ye many hearts of innocence
And warms thyself in their perdu passion

Thou drowns many hearts of sanctity love
Into your fathomless Lethe

And creates many insane encomiast
To eulogize thy illusion deeds

As Apollo transformed Clytie to sunflower
Thou endears innocent hearts bend towards you

Cadeceus, I pray unto thee, resurrect true-hearts
Whom the nebulous, fiend Cupid has entombed.

"Tingly skies full of surprise oh how I love when with surmise,
the little rascal aims his dart as if it were, poetic art!"
When I am hit by this cute cupid's arrow,
I find myself writing about love and romance.
I will never fight it,
I must enjoy this feeling and write on.
When cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do!

Touch from cupid

Below the starry skies a beauty dance,
Love struck, I fall with every glance,
With eyes and a smile full of grace,
An eternity I long to spend in her embrace,

Miranda, a beauty in whose eyes I wander,
With all in heaven as your admirers,
In love’s sweet tides, this king descends ,
To weave with you a story that never ends.

Crowned my queen by heaven’s design,
No jewel more precious, no star more radiant,
At your feet I lay this heart of mine,
Woelinam,would you forever be mine?

I yearn for your touch like the desert for rain,
My heart aches for you as the light of night draw near,
In dreams I wander the night’s lonely seas,
Longing for you to come back to me.

Caesar’s Serenade

Cleopatra,

I investigate your eyes
through Nile mist that weaves,
jade butterflies that never fly
sable tresses hanging over leopards
bole skin on the border of Venusian dreamcatchers

Gilded diadems dance as burned suns
radiate from golden flakes of your crown
lightning demarcating the border between genius
—	and ambition
wars are fought easier than your heart is won;
Cupid grieves your connections

Great men fear being made lesser by You
       She of the God-like Mind
made Immortal for her Wise Counsel
I’m no prisoner of Fear nor Envy
                                        nor Love
                           only Fate & Chance
Passionate war’s trompe-l’œil

Premium Member Cupid's Aim

Yes, Justice aspires to be blind,
But Cupid is not far behind.
His aim is so loose,
A moose and a goose
Once found that their stars were aligned.

HE IS MY CUPID

With eyes filled with love,
Looks- As clear as a white dove,
Lips as red as a wine,
You make me always for you-pine.

Came to me as a dream,
Talks- As sweet as a cake's cream,
With a glow and spark in his eyes,
He came to me with words like one so wise.

I have never seen one like you,
And am happy to be with you,
Your eyes are enough to make me happy and filled with joy,
Your words are enough for me to enjoy

CUPID ON RE-CALL

Who is that baby angel with a bow
Shooting arrows to and fro
Stinging men and women in the arm
Introducing them to luck and charm?

Love is definitely in the air
Look at Cupid flying there!
Heaven’s curio missing the archery
Cupid to sting not an artery!

Quick! Quick! Sound the alarm!
Fly and search the fields and barn!
Cupid’s missing and at large!
Meddling, striking, and free to barge!

Citizens from everywhere
Be vigilant and be aware
Cupid’s a baby – What does he know
About striking perfect mates with his arrows and bow
Sometimes mis-matching couples to and fro!
Baby Angel flying O so loose
Cupid’s on re-call makes the news!

Alas! Cupid has been caught grazing the meadows
There among the blooming wild flower pedals!
Sentenced to 5 more years of wearing “Huggie” Diapers
Awe, Cupid cries - Get the wipers!

CUPID

Cupid

Cupid's arrows wiltered me; they hasten the Death of Man
Cupid's arrows wiltered me; they hasten the death of Men
Although Allah is bewildered, the Titans grow ever so near.
Lurking beneath Mercury's shoulders, is Cait Sith of Final Fantasy near.
My cat, Cloudy, is mid-portioned grey not black. A Cait Sith, perhaps? indeed, Cloudy...
Little Angel.
Cupid, you Devil!
