Hope Anew
I try to keep the gloom at bay
While waiting for your precious birth.
Your beating heart in womb today
Spoke to my ears a wondrous mirth.
The winter wind is cold and brisk.
I’m keeping positive to quell
Fears you and mommy are at risk
In hospital where you must dwell.
Your mommy calls me ev’ry day.
To hear her voice gives me such cheer,
I’ve asked all angels in to pray
To keep both of you safe and near.
You are across the sea from me
Yet close in thought within my mind.
I will keep faith, and hope to see
That all my fears are soon behind.
I wait to welcome you in pink;
A blanket crocheted just for you.
Wish this humble poem I ink
Will give your mommy hope anew.

Long ago at twilight we pledged our sweet
love amid trees stretching stark and bare
Yet at our rendezvous the very next night
I was alone in my despair
Now in the sunset of my days, again
In the pastoral Eden I stand with you
In a bliss beyond love, our souls
coalesce as we begin our lives anew
“Rebuild anew”, he says to me.
The one of stillness ‘neath the sea.
“Rise to the shore; as one we stand.
This hardened castle borne of sand
conceals your darkest memory.”
A lone wolf blows with certainty
to shatter hollow masonry.
Destruction steadied by still hand.
Rebuild anew.
I crave only tranquility.
Erase these tortures mindlessly.
My heart is still; my mind profound.
Upon the rock I claim this ground
to reinvent my destiny.
Rebuild anew.
the love they shared went through a dip
faltering and losing their grip
once stable now a sinking ship
all she had was his heart
she promised not to let it slip
buoyant for a new start...

Everyday, in all my years, I always spoke to you.
But now, I'm forced to live my life especially anew.
Three years have gone by since I last heard your voice.
And I still feel as if my heart is being destroyed.
I never would of guessed, it would be this hard.
As I put being without you, in disregard.
At nights I feel ambivalent ,when my dreams are with you,
In hopes that when I wake up, I'll still see you.
But I'm always let down when reality kicks in.
That another day is to live without you and so painful to comprehend.
My life is different now and so am I.
I've had to relearn everything that I thought I knew in life.
Only this time, without you, being by my side.
It's hard some days and then some days seem better,
But the bad days are hard, almost too hard to endeavor.
I still get angry that you were taken away.
And how much I feel like I've been betrayed.
But I realize that these things had to happen for me to grow.
And to get to know myself, only by being alone.
Maybe missing you will get better with time.
Maybe this mountain will get easier and less difficult to climb.
However this journey ends up to be,
I'll take every step still wishing you were right next to me.
IT REEKS ANEW

When a Cow Defecates Onto the Grazing Field
There Is a Stench, That All Miasmic Odors Yield
But Given Some Time the Weathering Will Seal
And the Original Discomfort Becomes a non Deal
However, If the Deposit Is Stirred, the Odors Return
Leaving Old Conflicts Alone, a Lesson to Learn
We Have Disputes, Arguments Causing Unrest
But If Finally Resolved, Passing Times Test
However, If the Event Is Later Resurrected
Resentments Return, Peace Becomes Unprotected
If You Find a Bear Sound Asleep and Undisturbed
Poke Him? Dead Events Should Remain Interred
In my dreams you wander free,
I beckon you to follow.
A light gathers all around you,
I no longer feel so hollow.
The darkness turns to light,
And sets my soul on fire.
In your presence I embrace,
All that I desire.
Time is a gracious thing,
Not designed to be troubling.
But rather, allows us to,
Make ourselves whole heartedly anew.
It promises a new tomorrow,
When the past harbours sorrow.
Allows us to learn more,
Make memories like never before.
Enables our dreams to soar,
And understand life's precious core.
Suns Anew Radiance Aglow
Oh smiles newborn
May thy blessed son continue so
Sun meets horizon,
Shadows dance in the distance:
Landscape awaits dawn.
New Beginning's
The night sky closes,
And the dawn's light begins.
Dew forms from the night set,
And falling in the morning sky,
Covering what lies beneath.
The wind blows softly,
As clouds roll through the sky.
The sun, peeking back and forth,
From the horizon of nature
In the skies journey.
The fields, now glistening with dew,
That sets the new beginnings.
The flowers drink the dew,
That lies on their pedals.
New growth begins,
From the dew lying to form the nature.
And now, the new beginning has begun.

Exploring the petals lent
from the bouquet of life spent
ever inhaling memories past scents
of yesterday’s requisite repent
Watering the flowers remaining
with the tenderness gained
from past events…
Kindness and compassion
fertilizing the still living blooms
Wisdom stems the drawing force
Empathy gained… the life source
Diving into the blossoms
of a new day,
please join with me
and say you’ll stay
come out, come out
and let us now again play
among the renewing flowerings
Let us join together again
among the tender buds
and scatter the petals
of yesterday’s
in love’s forgiving winds

On caparisoned, filleted camels do they
Over the great, soft, tawny sands
Ride;
Unfurled flags and tribal standards flown amidst them,
In the very midst of them-
Of they, who astride great tan camels,
Seem rather scandent and saltant.
These are the irregular, well-armed cavalry of the
"Men In Ambush," for such is the literal translation of their
Nation's cognomen;
And on the sands of the undulant, granular, eminent
Near-Judean wilderness do they ride.
Photographing these from atop the vespertine-hued
Summit of a delivery truck from the nearby
Eminent, circumvallatory, hilly
And fortressed city;
From the very roof of an antiquated bread truck
(Though 'twas then very new by the standards of those bygone days)
Whose radiator is soon to vaporously explode
Amid the oppressive, anhydrous desert heat,
Photographs an American, hatted in the whitest
Of Panama hats, who is a correspondent reporting of wars.
The Arab cavalry ride for locales
Damascene, in order to pursue one's kingly wish
To renew the gardens Cordovan and long-vanished.
Form:
You hear, but do not listen,
You know not what has been said,
You have sugar plumbs,
Running through your head,
You are another,
Wishing I were dead.
Whispers in the wind,
Lets begin again.
For you know not,
Nor do you care,
Where I have been.
One life ends,
Another begins.
Why couldn’t we be friends?
Roses are red,
But other colors too.
When you awake,
Find something new.
When you stop learning,
Your life is through.
Don’t just hear,
But listen too.
Then just maybe,
Life will be good to you.
