"Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale. Children learn as they help you imagine" ~~ Hans Christian Andersen ~~
I sat by the pond not a ripple in sight.
How ever was I going to fly my new kite?
Leaves on the branches of far away trees,
Not a tiny rustle no sign of a breeze.
Colors of a rainbow my kite by my side.
Without any wind it wont fly even if I tried.
I see something fluttering as it passed by.
A wind didn’t cause that it was just a butterfly.
It’s time I gave up the day was just too fine.
Then a cow said "I am looking for a baby of mine”
I told her “I will help you look for your baby”
With two of us looking, we will find her maybe.
Suddenly the cow said she had heard a soft moo.
And yes, I had heard a slight little mooing too.
We searched and searched in the field over and over.
In the long grasses and the soft green clover.
I will help you look too came a cold blustery gust.
I could not see who had said this though try as I must.
Grasses began swaying the wind said "There is your heifer."
The gusty breeze said "I am a friendly zephyr."
The afternoon was fun, everyone was glowing.
The zephyr stayed and just kept on blowing.
Soon it was time for all to be on their way.
And the new friends looked forward to another day.
