Hi Gershon, Robots are taking over the world! But I'm sorry it's somethings I wouldn't want a robot to do. One must have that human interaction. I enjoyed the read. Well done:-) Alexis

As a relentless robot/AI inventor might ask: What makes someone 'human?' --- implying that it can be imitated, designed, perfected, mass-produced, and... ARRGGGHH, the future is closing in on us too fast, methinks. Thanks so much for your feedback, Alexis! :) gw (soup mail, please)

Hi Gershon, Having a robot to do things and help and go to the supermarket etc., sounds ideal, but what happens one day when there is a robot revolution against humanity?

Still resisting 'progress,' Jennifer? … Ha, ha. Join the club. We all do it. And yet, the generation-yet-to-be-born will look on 'robot revolts' as one more 'fact-of-life,' much as we view all the inconveniences and indignities of what passes for 'air travel' these days... :) gw

Wow, Bobby, I enjoy your comments so much. And I haven't even paid you yet for December, let alone January. (Send me the bill, I guess... LOL). Thank you, thank you, my friend, for all of your support and encouragement. Best wishes, Gershon

A robot who listens, who teaches children how to make friends, who cuddles my grandchildren on a warm soft lap. I am not worried yet, but many should be.

I agree wholeheartedly. No robot can do what you do. Coming generations of Carens --(Is that a phrase or what?!)-- may just make as much as doctors do today, for their skills, i.e., caretaking and loving, will probably be the most highly valued in society, once robots fill most of the technical, surgical, coding, etc. positions. ~ gw
