You Wouldn'T
Looking back at all our dreams, plans, and all the times you said I loved you,
Now I wonder what was true and what was not true.
Looking at the picture of you,
But it can’t be you.
You wouldn’t do that.
You wouldn’t say those things,
Then take them back.
You wouldn’t look twice at these types of women.
You wouldn’t have that type of fun.
You wouldn’t cheat on me.
You wouldn’t break the promises you made to me.
Seeing the private things between us, we say.
You wouldn’t talk that way.
You wouldn’t treat me that way.
This is a bad dream that goes on and on.
It’s all about you but it has to be wrong.
You wouldn’t do that.
You wouldn’t say those things,
Then take it back.
I don’t know you that way.
This has to be wrong.
Everything we have and were can’t be gone.
