I see you looking at him,
as he crosses the street,
He takes a chance with glances,
and I see your eyes meet
You may be feeling guilty,
when you take a look at me,
It's true that I don't look like him,
but, I've fallen at your feet

You're talking with your girlfriends,
and it's not about me
They all know what you're up to,
that you want to be free
I hear you whisper on the phone,
while in the other room
I sense that something's coming,
and my heart is filled with gloom

Your story has some loopholes,
and your smile seems out of place
