You Will Me Missed My Dear Friend An Ode To You
I hope this isnt true but it sounds like it is. A dear friend of mine has been taken away from me this day. A great mentor, a great person, someone i looked up to someone who motivated me, inspired me. A leader an inspiration to others a man who would give the clothes off his back to you if you were cold. I will miss you.
The lord takes the good and leaves the bad,
The world is left dying, with hate and racism it makes me sad.
I am filling with rage now, what more is there to do.
When all the good is gone there is only bad we will all be screwed.
Is this right no its not, something is wrong here dont you think
Taking the wrong people all the time, it makes the love in my heart shrink.
The violence wont stop, the love will subract
The war will stay the hate will stay in tact
The powers to be will keep it that way
Because the people wont fight
Its easier to stay
So just give up like we always do
Why fight anymore
Why be true
Why trust in each other to make it a better place
Why just believe in equality why believe were the same race
Because we are all the same we came from the same place
We have the same 2 eyes the same smile on our face
Look at yourselves just look for one time
We arent that different at all we are all mankind.
