You Never Know
Peek a boo, I see you, Grandma
Grandma sees you too, Marissa
What do you want to do today
Grandma, can me and you just play
Hey Grandma, these green beans I hate
Yuckiest thing I ever ate
Green beans, Marissa, make you strong
And healthy too, so you live long
At school, Grandma, I’m not afraid
A girl likes me, her name is Jade
She said to me, can we be friends
We pinky promised, ’til the end
Marissa’s views, she made so clear
I never dreamed her end was near
Some things on earth we can’t discern
You never know how life will turn
Six years of joy locked in my heart
Those memories will never part
At the end we’ll be together
She and I can play forever
