You Kept Me Fighting

It is hard for me to resonate
with my past self, but I respect her
and the things she endured through.
She went through so much darkness
and confusion, but she kept her dreams alive—
and that is what I think still resonates
today—that her dreams, her light,
her ideas didn’t die with her innocence,
or her hope, or her happiness.

Her dreams continue to manifest
into life, and fulfillment, and forgiveness.

And we have the chance to change the outcome of any dreams by nurturing the past version of ourselves by trying to manage things just a bit differently in the present. BTW, I have had periods of obsession in my life where I thought I could do something incredible. What I thought was important then isn't now. What matters is my family and friends and trying to do something I like that benefits society in some very small way. I took me a long time to understand any of this. You seem to have it.

Thank you dear friend, the little things do matter, and the big things, family and friends, important to be present with them even when it gets tough <3

All glory to God that breathes in new life , we are all cast in darkness and confusion from world teaching but there is a promised spirit that brings one out away from it, that reveals the deception one once was in , much love and prayers for all who keep you fighting: )
