You and I Are One
We are one flesh.
Our souls are intertwined.
Pounding in sync, our hearts beat as one at the very same time.
Your thoughts are my thoughts
The desires of your heart are my desires too.
And with every single breath I take, I inhale the incredible essence of you.
Your needs and wants are entrenched in my mind.
Our spirits are entangled assured to withstand, throughout all space and time.
Our wishes are indistinguishable
We have no individual visions or dreams
We share each other’s, happiness and bear each other’s pain.
And our victories, they are one in the same.
When the windows of heaven open up to pour down your blessings
I am also drenched, by the favour it rains.
The storms that we face, we weather together.
Our sorrows last only for a moment,
But the power of our joy, it will endure forever.
It is the presence of our love that illuminates gloomy dark skies.
You are the moon the graciously gleams with delight
And I am the stars that shimmer with pride.
You are calming cascades of forgiveness.
And I am spouting springs of devotion that generously overflow.
You are wondrous waterfalls of belief.
And I am streams of hope patiently waiting below.
You are the compassion of the sun that beams down its grace.
And I am the earth that is kissed by its rays.
You are the affectionate showers that tumble down in April.
And I am fragment flowers that brightly bloom in May.
Your insight is nourishment, substance to our land.
And I am the fruit of your wisdom that continuously grow.
You are the stunning foliage of autumn.
And I am the flurries of winter’s first snow.
You are the wind of courage, which carries me, so valiant and swift.
I am the phoenix taking flight on the wings of your strength
And with honor, and loyalty taking us higher, we freely soar.
You are deep blue seas of knowledge.
And I am the sands of understanding that encircle your shores.
You are the tranquil serenity of the air.
Whose cool unruffled breeze boldly embraces me
And I am valleys of virtue that lay at your feet.
And gaze in admiration at your peaks of perfect peace.
