Yoshihiro Hattori

When my mother discussed his story, I was tragically shocked and enraged. How could someone kill a teenager? Assuming Yoshihiro was a trespasser? An exchange student, a young teenager, From Japan, he traveled, with no fear. A teenager, in a nation, filled with guns, A tragic story that will forever run. A bright future, a young teenager, A young teen with a heart so bright. A love for life, he spread his wings, Yoshi Hattori, a name that will ring. But he went to, the wrong address, Where he received, a shooting death. In Baton Rouge, he met his demise, In both countries, many question why. His death and the killer's acquittal, Generated nationwide awareness. The U.S. and Japan were horrified, Why did a 16-year-old sadly die? But his memory will forever live on, About the topic of violence with guns. Even though he was fatally shot down, His powerful story will never drown. Yoshihiro Hattori, we will always remember, That your heart, so glowing, never put out. You rest in peace, Yoshihiro, the way above, You will always be an icon soaring with love.
