I've always been a marsh bird man myself Maureen, BUT when winter comes and the migration has taken away most of the waterfowl; the crack under foot of a fallen dead branch makes me glance to the side of the tree from which it came. Impervious to gravity scurries those adorable stuffed sinus sounding want to be woodpeckers, that YOU have now honored with this poem.
