Without You
Turning back to my dark days, you were the light.
Drowning in sorrows, you uplifted my spirit with joy.
No eyes to see beauty,
No ears to hear good melodies,
No tongue to taste sweet and bitter.
Every door was shut with mighty locks.
Without you, life is empty.
Without you, there is no empathy.
Blinded over my continuous wrongs towards you.
Blocking your ears against destructive whisperings to judge me.
Your amazing forgiveness transformed my thoughts.
Unfailing in abundant love, you gave me happiness.
Keeping watch over my toddler steps for my safety.
With your love you unveiled my living purpose.
