With Thy Last Breath And Only Heart
With thy last breath and only heart, a final song,
A swan's melody fading into twilight's embrace.
Like autumn leaves, vibrant yet not for long,
Drifting gently in life's concluding grace.
A candle's flame, flickering brave and bright,
Casting shadows on the walls of time.
The last grains of sand in night's hourglass tight,
A whispered prayer, a fading chime.
In this moment, fragile yet profound,
Thy heart beats its most sacred sound.
