Psalm 55:6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
He quiets my fear,
though, dark shadows
cling to my nature
revealing a need – so poor in spirit,
humility bleeds, revealing the destitute
lying within, the need…
just believe,
He holds the sun and the moon,
even the stars believe…
just believe,
He is wise, warm, forever the One
who silences the fear,
the shadows cannot dim the light living inside,
His love is mine, forever alive, like a fire…
burning away the doubts, the insecurities, the fear
scorching the heart with a love that sings peace,
amazing me, even me…
as I reflect His glistening truth, faith so beautiful
it brings the soul through everything…
despite the risk, the tears and fears,
despite the worries, anxiety and despair,
there is grace that bids hopeful prayers,
praising Him, with faith that believes…
He is who He says He is… He is the answer, the One
who never leaves,
He is the answer to every prayer prayed,
the music, the wonder, the hope that never fades,
He is the light that glistens in my soul,
Because of His love, I’m forever filled with joy
Because of His light, I’m forever with a purpose
Because of His life, I’m willing to sacrifice, knowing…
Because He is alive, I will always survive
Because He is alive, I will forever thrive
And, I love Him – I adore Him.
He is more than just amazing!
He is the light that I’ll always be praising…
when He hung the moon and scattered the stars,
there in my heart, He sprinkled His light,
there in my soul, He cast hope of something more…
love that never leaves, love that only He can bring
His love has wings
so I can fly eternally!
