Wild Birds
The dawn greets me with a chirpy grin
Alone, in the solitude that blesses me with freedom
I get out of my nest, rests my eyes on the ocean view
That bares itself for me and sips on the morning dew
Afterwards, I revere my wings, brushing them clean
And making sure my feathers shine and gleam!
When my stomach rumbles
I leave my comfort and fly towards where
The winds push me, while I smile and sing along
With the clouds and the blue skies
At the bliss that makes my heart tremble and shake,
For, being a wild bird
Requires being alone and being alone allows me
To enjoy a peace of mind that is known only
To a select few whose souls are connected
To the blissful vibes being sent to us from our earth!
