Whispers of the Past
In the shadow of the willow, soft winds sigh,
Where silent streams weave songs of yesteryear,
The golden leaves of autumn gently lie,
And trace the tender memories we hold dear.
Beneath the echoes of this tranquil grove,
Your laughter lingers like a gentle breeze,
The love you gave, in endless waves and troves,
Now dances in the rustle of the trees.
Oh, the stars we wished upon at night,
They shimmer still, in distant, quiet skies,
Your gentle spirit, lost to heaven's flight,
Yet here, in every tear my heart still cries.
A life too brief, yet filled with boundless grace,
Our hearts entwined, a bond that never fades,
In dreams, I find your ever-loving face,
A guiding light through sorrow's endless shades.
Till dawn embraces our eternal rest,
Your memory blooms, like roses in the snow,
For in our hearts, you'll ever be our guest,
In whispered songs and tears that softly flow.
