Whiskey and Me
WHISKEY AND ME
I don’t come home early anymore
I take my time walking through that door
Head hung down low staring at the floor
It aint the same as it was before
I’ll sit right here and drink tonight
Don’t have the energy to put up a fight
I’m outa here and outa sight
My whiskey and me will be all right
Spent enough time loving up on you
Got rid of my friends said I was through
But it was okay for you to have your crew
It aint the same what am I gonna do
I’ll sit right here and drink tonight
Aint gonna argue about who is right
Your bent out of shape and uptight
My whiskey and me will be all right..
My whiskey and me will be just fine
He’s got a good friend named red wine
And if they leave I got moonshine
Darling too many times you crossed that line
Ill sit right here and drink tonight
Turn my sadness into some light
Don’t have the nerve to shout and fight
My whiskey and me will be all right.
Ill be right here drinking all damn night
My whiskey and me will be all right.
