I am not your father, nor uncle
Yet I am just a repented man
I am not you mother, auntie
Yet I am an adult
We used to stand together, we adults
We were a rising village
We use to keep in line, every child and the children in kind
Where are the villages now?
Where have they gone, now?
Where are the villagers and why are we not (together)
Raising all the children together
We were a rising village
We use to keep in line, every child and the children in kind
Where are the villages now?
Where have they gone, now?
Where are the villagers and why are we not (together)
Raising all the children together
Where is the times, gone?
Why are we just, here?
Where has the families love gone
There’s too many children un-rearing
Bring up a child in the way it should go
Bring up a child in the way it should go
And when their old they we not depart from it
Bring up and care for those the children until they are fully grown
Where are we now in the child’s life, child’s life?
We were a rising village
We use to keep in line, every child and the children in kind
Where are the villages now?
Where have they gone, now?
Where are the villagers and why are we not (together)
Raising all the children together
We were a rising village
We use to keep in line, every child and the children in kind
Where are the villages now?
Where have they gone, now?
Where are the villagers and why are we not (together)
Raising all the children together
Where are the villages now?
