When Money Is a Secondary Consideration

When money is a secondary consideration, There is joy throughout the nation, With many looking forward without trepidation. When money is a secondary consideration, There will be less people suffering from constipation, With better products for any situation. When money is a secondary consideration, There will be increased job satisfaction, With fewer unable to function. When money becomes a secondary consideration, There will be fewer cases involving heart palpitation, With balancing the books a less formal occasion. When money becomes a secondary situation, There will be less waste generation, With less temptation. When money becomes a secondary consideration, There will be more co-operation, With a higher rate of production. When money becomes a secondary consideration, There will be less degradation, With a lot more consideration.

Money, there must be hundreds of poems, songs, and quotes about it. "The root of all evil" "Money makes the world go round" Pink Floyd wrote a song about it, called "Money, It's a Drag" I could use more to pay for my daughter's tuition that's for sure. Not a secondary situation for me. Your poem rings true in every stanza. Clever.

Thanks. I find friends help reduce need for money to some extent. I have a pocket sized book called Man verses Money. Written in the nineteen thirties by a Scottish professor.

David, nice try at Terza Rima, although I thought you could have come up with more variety in your rhymes. OTOH, perhaps, that is what you intended. It was interesting.

Thanks for that, always keen to learn from others. So much good poetry and poets on the soup, which gives me great hope for the future of Humanity. A lot of poets are also trying to get young people into the fold. I do reading on local radio and a friend plays jazz and we did Jazz and poetry afternoons for a year and a bit, all for free. Take care David in NZ
