When Innocence Sang

I miss the native feeling Strutting in dreamy notions Of naked desire Reflecting on wonder and delight Long as love Unfictional and untethered Spawning the literature of hope I miss the genuine smiles The laugher of faith Broadcasting courage to the soul Of sweet liberating echoes Dancing in surrender Where the soul finds its music In the purity of innocence
