Wheelchair Bound

Oh, this is not my cup of tea! Woke up yesterday with a foot in agony. A wheelchair from my Mom, I had. Luckily for me, as my left foot that was very bad. My daughter and grandson came over to help. This aging poetess and drama queen wlo likes to yelp! Into my bed, I was commanded. Ice on my foot, I felt stranded. No weight on that foot could I place. My face was flushed with silly disgrace. Maria said, "Give it a few days." I was distraught and in a case ofundesired malaise. This morning, the pain is about gone. But keeping off of it, and grateful I can pen poetic songs. A special thanks to you who wished me well. Those wonderful prayers and kind words, made me, of this tale to tell. Bless all of you, Panagiota xx 10/16/2020 Opus# 1

Was scared to death...am not in wheelchair anymore! Yaa? My daughter iced it and said stay off of it. I also found that one pair of my shoes works best. It's like a shoe carnival here. For now. Only one pair works.. Pangie

Tom.LoL...I will follow your advice and Dr. Marie. A funny story for you. Maria was in 4th grade. They were asked what they wanted to be when grown up. Maria said a doctor. When asked why, Maria said to make money. The teacher put her down for this. The best part of the story in the teacher quit teaching to marry a billionaire. Ironic, isn't it. Maria never became an MD, thogh she is gifted and more than intelligent enough to be one The moral of the story? Be careful what you say to children. If they have a dream~ help them build it, not crush it. Maria is anything but greedy! Panagiota xx

Hello Regina, your words of encouragement are so welcomed! It has helped me appreciate how great it is to walk pain free. I know this will take awhile.... But am so grateful for you and your words and your participation at Poetry Soup add...your willingness to comment. It takes unselfishness to do that... Congratulations for so doing. Love, Pangiexx
