What Would Our Ancestors Say

What of them? What do you think that they would they say? Do you think they turn and ran when democracy was at stake? What of all that suffering, all that hate seems to stay! What about all that blitz fear that they conquered day after day? Does it make you shiver now when you see democracy could be blown away? Does it make you feel any regret for what our ancestors died determined to save? What about all the children now living free in a racially tolerant state? Do you think that freedom and tolerance are a given in an undemocratic nationalistic state?
