What It's Worth
For what it’s worth I cared for you
Deeply from my heart
Never wished ill to be
Nor even be apart.
Evidence of negligence
Mirrored in cascades,
Much regret with cold sweat
With love comes umpteen shades.
Experience I guess it was
How you were my treasure,
You brought me light that shone so bright
Until it scorched the pleasure.
A love so deep I wished to keep
To call my very own,
For what it’s worth I cared for you
Though destiny is home.
For what it’s worth I guess you were
Merely just a part
Bashfully but naturally
Still within my heart.
Though one day I’ll let you go
Ponder retrospection...
Knowing love will never die
Just given for collection.
