What Doesn't Kill You

The vicissitudes in life I've faced Have neither dulled me Nor defined me. I rather like to think, instead, That they have honed me And refined me.

A powerful reflection on strength and resilience!! True character is found in the forges of life. What an inspiring read Jim. I enjoyed this one immensely. Well done Sir.

...if what doesn't kill me makes me stronger then I'll have one muscle bound corpse....But I am with you Jim, most of it was just "sculpture" work, scraping away the roughness and sharpening the fine edges.....and now to find out I had..."vicissitudes"...is there a vaccine...

Thanks, John...and sorry about that. I didn't intend to give you something else to worry about. And no, I don't think there's a vaccine, but Phizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson may very well be working on one. I'm sure Dr. Faucci of the CDC will let us know. In the meantime, I guess we'll just have to keep on "scraping and sharpening" and trying to keep those little buggers under control.
