Homelessness

What does it mean to be man? To wake up every day, and know you have to pray... just to be alive. To find another plan, and convince yourself you can... and to strive. What does it mean to be man, When living is for dying, And you are dying just to live... dear Lord, please help me understand... Oh, please help me understand! What does it mean... to be man? To go out and win another war, before the sun rise you creep out the door, and leave your wife. You dodge bullets in the field, you medevac a friend and hope he heals, and fight for his life. What does it mean to be man, When living is for dying, And you are dying just to live... dear Lord, please help me understand... Oh, please help me understand! What does it mean... to be man? It's a meeting and she calls you excuse yourself and go into the hall... You pick up the ringing phone... she wants to know when you will be coming home... Here is a list for the store... daddy, you are hardly home any more... Sign the papers and we’re through, I don't understand what became of you... Give me half of all you earn, men are horrible, why won’t you ever learn? What does it mean to be man, When living is for dying, And you are dying just to live... dear Lord, please help me understand... Oh, please help me understand! What does it mean... to be man? by Martin Braun February 22, 2024 Where's the love, for men? More and more men are dying in prisons, and are homeless on the streets... suffering from emotional and mental trauma, coming from broken homes. There are countless support groups and funding for women, and children. But like every sinking ship, women and children come first, and the men are left to drown. Hang in there guys. You are not alone. God hears your prayers, and knows your heart. For all you who gave your life for those you love, and lost, we will be united with our Lord, and live an everlasting life, in peace. Because you love, you are a man! People... it's time to close our borders, stop spending billions on foreign wars, fighting from petty social causes, and take care of business at home. It is time to fix the home we started, and stop trashing it. There are 653,104 homeless people in the United States, as of 2023, and that number is rising every year. Not since the depression, has so many families been homeless. 1. 70% of all homeless are men. 2. Men are more likely to not receive shelter. 3. In the U.S. Nationally, 21.5 men and 8.3 women experience homelessness per 10,000 people in the general population.
