We'Re All At Home Alone Together-
No late night talk shows
can't go to the movies anymore
child can't go to the park
and the playground is closed
day noon and died
Was no spring break for 2020
all the schools will close after March 28th
the new Norm
what prom
there be no graduation
no more hugging
is a new inauguration
empty streets
gas is cheap
we are at Home Alone Together
new on Sundays
no longer to church days
we are home alone together every Faith
every race
it's more than tonight
that kills just corvid wave
taking my breath away
and passes and fails distinguishing God's breath
his spirit masked men women
and some children
out in the public
parted
standing 6 feet away does this mean the end of couples where's the beef
the meats
and why is all the toilet paper gone
this virus is it inside us
Lord from this I admit
I am not ready to die
yet the new Norm
what about the newborns
empty streets we're at home Alone
Together it's more that the night that kills
this Corvid wave
taking my breath away
So this I continue to say
we must stay at home Alone Together
