We Want To Go Home

We have no time to stop and stare. This pandemic is everywhere. Our lives are put on hold as we wait for a cure to unfold. We sit on the balcony every day in the sun we hope and pray. The Maltese Charm is long and gone we pray to be back to where we belong. To start the last chapter in our home with family nearby and not alone. Happiness and health are all we seek with a trip to Wetherspoons once a week. Rita needs to be loved at last and forget about all that's gone in the past. Mothers love their children every day regardless of their faults come what may. To be back home to the ones we love is all we ask of the Lord above. As Christmas is growing near all we ask is get us out of here!

Thank you, Vijay, we are pensioners who have moved from England to Malta. But now is the time to be with family as I will be 70 next year and Rita will be 68. So we have decided to have the final chapter in our own country,
