We might still have forever

We might still have forever By Michelle Morris 27/07/2024 I feel lost without you When we're apart You're always on my mind You're always in my heart Nothing gives my soul a bigger smile Than the love I see reflected in your eyes I feel strange here in the silence This house is no longer a home Nothing tastes as good as our love Nothing ignites my heart like your warmth Hold me close again, for a little while Hold me close, share your smile I feel like we might still have forever If only we can find our way back to each other Like growing tendrils reach out Our silver threads keep pulling Entwining our souls together for all time Our love, our souls, sublime © Michelle Morris, 2024

This is so lyrical and so heartfelt dear michelle, i felt so many lines in this especially “ this house is no longer like a home” the melancholy and sadness that flows throughout is soul touching really! And the hope at the end of the poem is beautiful to read! Poignant! Pleasure reading this evocative poem! Sending you light always
